amazing when you look at how much time is spent just setting up the wires.

Don Buchla is a genius! His instruments are absolutely from outer space, but grounded in high grade engineering and programming capabilities. Just wow!

    Bastard 40Hz grr!!
Oh, and the Sad Mac plushie up there, it's based on one of Alessandro's tats. A fan made it for him.
I made him a flat foam buchla from a friend's design -_- He did get it, but it's not on display anywhere haha.

Oh, once upon a time at tech college... I couldn't mix on the Control 24 because some smarty pants blew up one of the dynaudio speakers. What's worse, when I was doing work experience in a recording studio, we blew up one of the Genelecs. $5k down the drain.......

Its not nonsense...someone just hasnt added the other "normal" aspects like drums or addition instruments. Lots of people are fine with just the synth, but you hear Nine inch nails or some electro rock and it all makes sense :).

I'm even more sad. He left before the Australian tour. I've only seen NIN once before and I really didn't pay attention so much to the technical aspect, but rather the musical elements.
    And Aaron North =/

what does he control it with? I don't see any keyboards.

it's modular, it's generating a soundwave which is modulated and sequenced by the patch cables connecting different parts. no keyboard necessary
