BANDITRY...THE PLACE IS A GHOST TOWN. KADUNA STATE NIGERIA

  • I was on a short trip to Kaduna and my host wanted me to see this place, he explained what was happening there to me. He wanted me to show the world what is happening there. For three days I struggled with the idea as I did not want to make the video. But a day before my departure, I decided the world needed to see some of these things from a different perspective, my perspective.

This was a very brave outing and quite risky too. I must commend your effort and your friend's to bring this reality of our times to the stage for the world to witness our present state of the states and our nation as a whole.
And the truth is the government has all the apparatus to end this, but instead they all give speeches and neglect their duties.
    Well done 👍🏾

Thanks for the coverage which the mainstream media ignore. I empathize with the people who have abandoned their communities. This is what happens when incompetent people are voted into office. Only people with ability should be voted and/or appointed into offices. Do NOT vote for someone because s/he is from your tribe who does not have the ability to develop your community. Please remember when you vote in 2023 to VOTE FOR SOMEONE WITH COMPETENCE.

Bigwillz well done for bringing this issues to us. My country people abeg Una. For ones we all should put aside the issue of Saudi Arabia Islam and Italian or European Christianity so that we can take our country back. That’s the best way to eliminate the crisis. Just so true, you will always wonder, why can't people just up and leave, how can they leave when most people can only struggle to feed themselves, the bandits come and cause the extended families to cough out the money, some places it's the community that contribute to bring back the people. And for those who can't pay, they never return..... So so sad, look at how development in this place have stalled.

Prior to the current insecurity in Nigeria, those of us abroad would share our upcoming visits so friends and contacts could send mainly money through us to their relatives.

    2. With regard to our men and women under arms who have lost their precious lives over this business, may their souls rest in peace.
    3. One of the many root causes of what is happening now is Govt's utter neglect of the most important level of Governance that is, the Wards which is where we all come from. All porous borders are part of one ward or another. 4. Farmers, Cattle Rearers, Teachers, Taxi Drivers, Brick layers, Hair dressers, Doctors, Nurses, Hospitals, Clinics, Chemists, Kiosks Shops, Stores, Police Stations, Military bases, Barracks, Village and Town Units, Cities Even the Atlantic City is under some small local jurisdiction.
    5. However, for the last Forty (40) or more years we seem to have been living under the Governance of people who forget that our TRUE origins are RURAL, and that regardless, of fancy trips we make to Dubai or the number of fancy homes we buy there or in any other part of Asia, the world of America, Europe or where ever, our truthful home and base is the Ward not even the LGA.
    6. WE ARE VILLAGE PEOPLE!
Nigerian Politicians after 1975 have ruined the Wards which is the foremost Federating Unit of the indigenous peoples that we are!
    7. Two hundred and Fifty (250) Ethnic Groups and Five Hundred (500) Indigenous Language Groups!
We the inheritors of the NOK CIVILIZATION that goes as far back as 1500BC, an expansive culture spread over more tha 78,0000 square Km!
We who are home to Empires, Kingdoms, Principalities and Countless Vast Communities recorded in World History!
Here we are wondering at just how much more pain is going to be visited on our people as a result of insensitive politians.
    8. They are pseudo city dwellers in mansions mounted on roads with no drainage systems, where portable water supply is rare and where they themselves would be flushing their toilets with water from buckets if they did not have Private Bore Holes! Fancy a nation where politicians in mega cities have to depend on private bore holes for regular water supply; and Private Generators for Power Generation yet speak at the UN
General Assembly with those have Portable Water, and constant power supply in the remotest part of their Communities. Haba!
    9. El Rufai's Advice to Bomb the Forests and His None Chalant Approach to Collateral Damage:
    (i) Please if any of your children in University Abroad were to be held in those forests would you advocate bumbing the areas? How about if one of the hostages was your wife, brother or sister?
(ii) What are Security Votes and how much of it have been received Before and During the several years by the Governors of the Five (5) Flash Point Northern States you mentioned, as regards the Mismanaged War that the disagreement between the Fulani and Hausa Nigerians is threatening to disrupt normal life among the larger Nigerian family?
(iii) Decades of Deep sitted Govt Negligence of its own people, and careless attitude to pain are what have snowballed into even more pain for all our people in IDP camps and abandoned communities. It is only fair that the same Govt should solve the problems.
(iv) Mallam El Rufai, you yourself continue to confirm that the Govt knows the identity of the Irregular Folks, Govt has their Telephone numbers and is aware of the locations. The same Govt should cause them to leave Nothern Nigeria in Peace!

Thanks Bigwills for the documentary and the fact that he didn't align these criminal activities to one ethnic group rather than calling on officials that something has to be done there. It is also a shame what amount of farmland remains uncultivated beside all the abandoned housing.

The first town they stopped use to be my town.
The street they entered first leads to St. Simon Catholic Church.
3-4Km into that road is a settlement of Fulani.
All these areas in the video are places I know very very well.
All the way to Kujama, Kasua-Mageni and all.
Since after the 2011 Jonathan - Buhari presidential crisis, it has been secret attacks around the outskirts.
The government and defense force all have some sympathy for these troublemakers that's why they're taking it likely with them.
The Nigerian government and defense force doesn't want to put an end to this madness.

Good job bigwillz, my take, what we are seeing is our collective foolishness over 60 years. We all contributed to it one way or another. When this was in the North East we didn't collectively do ANYTHING about it. We played politics and let it to fester. So what we are seeing is the result. But it is easy to blame buhari or el rufai. We ALL failed ourselves. All of us as a people.
It's a sad sad story indeed, but we all have to take the blame one way or another.
Until we are ready to collective face it, we are just joking as people.
I feel sorry for the people that had to up and go and those that are directly affect by this
    Keep up the good work

Many were benefiting from it from different level of power so none of them wanted it to end .
Some where seeing it as the starting point of the destruction of the north (the enemy of the north) them too will contributed in many aspects more precisely medias and to some extent they prevent those trying to calm the situations bring back peace with accusations that they were helping the bandits.
Shek Gumi try to engage these people to embrace peace the enemies of peace tried all what they can to stopped him by trying to declared them as terrorist .
The recent one that happened which was the turbine of a bandit kingpin in other to bring them close to the local authority so that the authority will have control over them and still more accusations on the emir without asking his reason for doing that .

This is not only sad, but it is also completely senseless! I bet, if you give some of the same people who are messing up their communities, the chance to live in places like America, or Britain, they would become some of the best community members. Why do we treat ourselves in such unloving ways?
Most definitely, something must be done to figure out why this happening; questions must be asked; state resources must be deployed to defeat this madness!
I refuse to accept the notion that, in a modern time such as this, a nation as rich as Nigeria, can't deal with this problem!
Take advantage of modern technologies to identify those involved in this madness and either bring them to justice or take them out; it is extremely doable, don't you think guys?
As I listened to the presenter's commentary, I developed ideas that can and must be used to deal with this problem: 1st, those who make decisions on issues like this, must be on the same page as far as going after those responsible, 2nd, the state or the government must procure surveillance technology to keep a bird's eye on all happenings in this place and without any public notification of intents, move on them followed by an immediate installation of potent surveillance capabilities to keep bandits out for good.
If Nigeria can't do this, shame on black Africa as a whole!

This was the plan by the western world all along. They inculcated self hate into us all.
      We never appreciate ourselves.
      We never support ourselves.
      We never promote ourselves.
We've been transitioned to devalue and destroy ourselves and our brothers.
It's a long term destructive mechanism that's now almost impossible to eradicate.
