BANDITRY...THE PLACE IS A GHOST TOWN. KADUNA STATE NIGERIA
Вставка
- Опубліковано 30 чер 2022
- I was on a short trip to Kaduna and my host wanted me to see this place, he explained what was happening there to me. He wanted me to show the world what is happening there. For three days I struggled with the idea as I did not want to make the video. But a day before my departure, I decided the world needed to see some of these things from a different perspective, my perspective.

Just watching this video makes me share tears, imagine that lady walking down alone on that lonely road, she just wants to feed her families, God please guards and protect her and the others on the communities.

This was a very brave outing and quite risky too. I must commend your effort and your friend's to bring this reality of our times to the stage for the world to witness our present state of the states and our nation as a whole.
And the truth is the government has all the apparatus to end this, but instead they all give speeches and neglect their duties.
Well done 👍🏾
Thank you 🙏
Thanks for the coverage which the mainstream media ignore. I empathize with the people who have abandoned their communities. This is what happens when incompetent people are voted into office. Only people with ability should be voted and/or appointed into offices. Do NOT vote for someone because s/he is from your tribe who does not have the ability to develop your community. Please remember when you vote in 2023 to VOTE FOR SOMEONE WITH COMPETENCE.
💯👍
Well said. However, I don't think people are sensible enough to listen.
Main stream media are scare to reports the real situates on ground because laws which prohibit sensitive reporting, this is democracy for you.
Bigwillz well done for bringing this issues to us. My country people abeg Una. For ones we all should put aside the issue of Saudi Arabia Islam and Italian or European Christianity so that we can take our country back. That’s the best way to eliminate the crisis. Una sabi say 9ja was good in late 80s. Example, when I was leaving 9ja to USA my round trip flight ticket from Kano-New York and back was 3,000 Naira. Three thousand Naira chia). Please Vote for those that can fix problems. For me woo I preferred pikin that will be STINGY with public money and who doesn’t have STRUCTURED. we need New & Improve Nigeria. This ‘Na’ once in a lifetime opportunity wo.I thank Una. Abdul ‘Omo9ja’.
I totally agree with you 💯 bros.
We need people who can move our country forward. Who structure help.
Abdul, 'European Christianity' really.
Why didn't you say 'Arab Islam'.

I grew up and always lived in kaduna. this is what the media never shows. the way we can't even sleep at night is very sad. thank you for this media coverage. honestly I'm grateful from the depth of my heart. my family in the deeper southern kaduna like jagidi and some other villages also go through this and it's very traumatizing. the governor keeps giving silly excuses every now and then we are even tired at this point
It was a pleasure doing this video. Kaduna is my home and it's sad to see it this way.
is only a federal force that can do this... they have allowed it grow more than what is suppose to be
@@abayomiadio6485 you are right. It has turned into a monster.
The governor will not do anything about it because it's an Arewa agenda. I'm in my mid 40s and I've been seeing this in Kaduna since I was a child. It's Arewa agenda of land grabbing and ethnic cleansing in Kaduna. Rigasa is an example. Also the Birnin Gwari community suffers the same.

This is so gory, scary and unfortunate... Nigeria must work in our lifetime.
Our leaders need to be on their toes. Revolution is it.
Nigeria must work!!!
Oh wow saw my uncle’s house. The house that he talked about both husband and wife being kidnapped and the wife died later.
Oh my God..so sorry about your uncle's wife. May her soul rest in peace. Do you know I own 10 plots of land not far from your uncles place. Now I can't develop it and I can't sell. It's a sad thing happening in the country especially in the north.
Wow sorry for your lost, may her soul rest in peace.
Just so true, you will always wonder, why can't people just up and leave, how can they leave when most people can only struggle to feed themselves, the bandits come and cause the extended families to cough out the money, some places it's the community that contribute to bring back the people. And for those who can't pay, they never return..... So so sad, look at how development in this place have stalled.
So so sad
Sad story my brother. Thank you for sharing. Buhari failed Nigeria
He failed us big time. Thanks for watching bro

I was just in tears because someone so close to me got affected in this town, the person is late now due to this event.
Oh my God! So sorry about that.
You have some serious balls to go on this sojourn. Very informative, but I'll never try doing something so bold.
Just had to show it
Absolutely brilliant video that needed to be done! I was so afraid for you and your host, then I remeber I am not watching this video live. It was uploaded almost 3 months ago. But still, please be careful! What if they saw your car and came out of their hiding places? What if your car broke down? I was just so petrified! It is a fantastic video! Well done!

Great content, thanks for the insights! I hope the government wakes up to step up security for the innocent people caught up in this mess
We pray they do.
If El rufai and Buhari must live in peace they must apologize to Nigerians because what they caused this blessed country is irredeemable. They are the sponsors of the Boko-Haram.

The bandits claim poverty and marginalization as some of the reasons why they do what they do, not realizing that they more chaos and destruction they cause, the more poverty, despair and marginalization they create in the Northern parts, destroying the future of their children also. How sad 😔.
Very sad. A vicious cycle.
It’s just so sad, that’s why we need to all get involved in choosing those who govern us. When foolish people governs, the people suffer.
Exactly 💯
And when clueless and uneducated people are elected because they belong to a particular tribe, region, etc., WE, THE PEOPLE SUFFER!!! And we will suffer for generations to come due to the damage done by this current president.

A state where the kidnapping negotiation chairman knows the location of the captives and goes there everytime to negotiate but can never go with any security forces to track them down
How else is one meant to realize that this is all intentionally headed by their govt

I lost a retired colleague who relocated to this place jus to have a fresh and noiseless post-retirememt life, though against our advice as colleagues. He was shot dead on d spot, his wife and last daughter kidnapped for 2months.
Still trying to find out why a loving soul like Mr Alphonsus has to be taken on his own soil.
Since then I stopped blaming whosoever that chooses to even relocated to d moon.So far he finds peace therein.
This man is a son of d soil, yet the soil couldn't safe him.
That's so sad to hear.
May his soul rest in peace. And may those who took his life never go free.
El-Rufai has no shamed , by calling himself a Governor.
This is beautiful land, rich and fertile. God save us.

El-Rufai always pays lip service to Issues, very sweet mouth. If he talks, he sounds so genuine but fear that man. Without going too far let El-Rufai just put as much efforts as Zulum is doing, things would have been much better in Kaduna.
👍💯
Watching this video has made we weep; and I have not wailed like this in a long LONG time!!😭😭😢😡
Who would like to return to or invest in Nigeria with the current insecurity?
Prior to the current insecurity in Nigeria, those of us abroad would share our upcoming visits so friends and contacts could send mainly money through us to their relatives.
Now, even one’s best friend would travel to Nigeria without notice. The recipients are deprived as a result.
And can you blame anyone who chooses self-preservation?
BigWillz, thanks for exposing this ugly underbelly!!
🙏🙏🙏
It's indeed very sad, I sold my land in Damishi too after the kidnapped of the school children.
Wao. I have about 10 plots of land there. Now I can't do anything there. Very sad

I cry at this sight, 😔😭
Wasting land, human and time resources people have put in to their past life's. Nigerians will not forget all these easily.
I pray all goes away soon
No military checkpoint in all these areas.
Not a single one. But they have a small barrack not too far from this place.
my heart is just broken.. El rufai has said the whole truth
👍
Please leave that place as soon as possible and return in peace to your base. You and your brave Escort have done well indeed. May the Good Lord protect you and all those who like you are taking the type of risks that you are taking.
2. With regard to our men and women under arms who have lost their precious lives over this business, may their souls rest in peace.
3. One of the many root causes of what is happening now is Govt's utter neglect of the most important level of Governance that is, the Wards which is where we all come from. All porous borders are part of one ward or another. 4. Farmers, Cattle Rearers, Teachers, Taxi Drivers, Brick layers, Hair dressers, Doctors, Nurses, Hospitals, Clinics, Chemists, Kiosks Shops, Stores, Police Stations, Military bases, Barracks, Village and Town Units, Cities Even the Atlantic City is under some small local jurisdiction.
5. However, for the last Forty (40) or more years we seem to have been living under the Governance of people who forget that our TRUE origins are RURAL, and that regardless, of fancy trips we make to Dubai or the number of fancy homes we buy there or in any other part of Asia, the world of America, Europe or where ever, our truthful home and base is the Ward not even the LGA.
6. WE ARE VILLAGE PEOPLE!
Nigerian Politicians after 1975 have ruined the Wards which is the foremost Federating Unit of the indigenous peoples that we are!
7. Two hundred and Fifty (250) Ethnic Groups and Five Hundred (500) Indigenous Language Groups!
We the inheritors of the NOK CIVILIZATION that goes as far back as 1500BC, an expansive culture spread over more tha 78,0000 square Km!
We who are home to Empires, Kingdoms, Principalities and Countless Vast Communities recorded in World History!
Here we are wondering at just how much more pain is going to be visited on our people as a result of insensitive politians.
8. They are pseudo city dwellers in mansions mounted on roads with no drainage systems, where portable water supply is rare and where they themselves would be flushing their toilets with water from buckets if they did not have Private Bore Holes! Fancy a nation where politicians in mega cities have to depend on private bore holes for regular water supply; and Private Generators for Power Generation yet speak at the UN
General Assembly with those have Portable Water, and constant power supply in the remotest part of their Communities. Haba!
9. El Rufai's Advice to Bomb the Forests and His None Chalant Approach to Collateral Damage:
(i) Please if any of your children in University Abroad were to be held in those forests would you advocate bumbing the areas? How about if one of the hostages was your wife, brother or sister?
(ii) What are Security Votes and how much of it have been received Before and During the several years by the Governors of the Five (5) Flash Point Northern States you mentioned, as regards the Mismanaged War that the disagreement between the Fulani and Hausa Nigerians is threatening to disrupt normal life among the larger Nigerian family?
(iii) Decades of Deep sitted Govt Negligence of its own people, and careless attitude to pain are what have snowballed into even more pain for all our people in IDP camps and abandoned communities. It is only fair that the same Govt should solve the problems.
(iv) Mallam El Rufai, you yourself continue to confirm that the Govt knows the identity of the Irregular Folks, Govt has their Telephone numbers and is aware of the locations. The same Govt should cause them to leave Nothern Nigeria in Peace!
🙏🙏
One point you don't make is that federal government invited the Fulanis from other Sahel countries to take over Nigeria. They want to take over Nigeria as there permanent home. Sad but true
That's brave if you going there, where are the Nigerian security forces? If it's oppressing citizens you will see their might.
That's where you will see them. I don't want to blame them much as they only follow orders given to them.
I’m sorry to here wow this is sad 😞
Very sad
Nice video.....I believe this neighborhood is in southern Kaduna, right?
Yes, correct
These bloody terrorist ve something evil up their sleeves.... these re herdsmen motive to use kidnapping to ransack the people of southern Kaduna (predominantly Christians ) from there ancestral homes b4 u know it,they would bring in there herds and by that time it would be very difficult to chase all of them away..... just mark my words
Great investigative journalism. The responsibilities our Govt ignored will someday hunt them or their children. This is so sad. It's even more sad to know they are still clamouring for the seat of power. Shame
Walahi. For me it's about getting out of these mess.
This is Nigeria oooh.
Walahi
Nigeria has great tourism and development potentials but insecurity has brought everything to a standstill. My concern is each time bandits are caught, they mentioned the bulk of the money goes to their sponsors and only a negligible portion is given to them.
Waooo.....
@ burtluck that's to show how foolish, useless and dump they are😂😂😂
GOOD JOB WILLZ, IT IS IMPORTANT THAT YOU DOCUMENT THESE THINGS AND NOT JUST PAINT US PRETTY PICTURES ALL THE TIME
Point taken and I will. 🙏
I nominate you for photo journalism award for showing the world the plight of Nigerians at the hands of the Fulanis. Stay safe.
Thank you 🙏🙏
Nevertheless these people who are kidnapped are Fulanis, too. And unfortunately banditary happen also in other places in Nigeria. Thanks Bigwills for the documentary and the fact that he didn't align these criminal activities to one ethnic group rather than calling on officials that something has to be done there. It is also a shame what amount of farmland remains uncultivated beside all the abandoned housing.
And yet Governor El-rufai is focused on his party politics while he state burns 🔥
What a pity.
But Kaduna is basically a military state, home to a number of military institutions and the Army's premier Division. This is truly unfortunate.
You are 💯correct. It's just unfortunate.
His right, thats what need to be done, as a sounterner am not happy whats happening over there, we all need to come together and stamp it out.
If one part of a body is not well, then the whole body is sick.
This man did a good job showing things in this video. But he seems not to understand the government (of El Rufai) he is counting on to do something are complicit in the problems he just showed us?
The increasing state of insecurity in the country is quite worrisome. Come 2023 we should elect a leader that will have the political will to deal with these wild animals who are bent on destroying humanity. Buhari's administration is a complete failure!
You've said it all.🙏🙏🙏
You guys are informed, nothing will change, the world have change we're living in the great power competition Nigeria most be kept in constant chaos to control Africa;Banditry was finance d sponsored by France and some Western Arab countries, Your prayers will never change anything.

Thank you for watching and sharing
See all the businesses that have been stopped, so sad, the place is so so empty
If you know how quickly developing this place was becoming before this issue came up was amazing.
The first town they stopped use to be my town.
The street they entered first leads to St. Simon Catholic Church.
3-4Km into that road is a settlement of Fulani.
All these areas in the video are places I know very very well.
All the way to Kujama, Kasua-Mageni and all.
Since after the 2011 Jonathan - Buhari presidential crisis, it has been secret attacks around the outskirts.
The government and defense force all have some sympathy for these troublemakers that's why they're taking it likely with them.
The Nigerian government and defense force doesn't want to put an end to this madness.
Waooo... Thanks for sharing this information. Appreciated
Good job bigwillz, my take, what we are seeing is our collective foolishness over 60 years. We all contributed to it one way or another. When this was in the North East we didn't collectively do ANYTHING about it. We played politics and let it to fester. So what we are seeing is the result. But it is easy to blame buhari or el rufai. We ALL failed ourselves. All of us as a people.
It's a sad sad story indeed, but we all have to take the blame one way or another.
Until we are ready to collective face it, we are just joking as people.
I feel sorry for the people that had to up and go and those that are directly affect by this
Keep up the good work

Nagode @Tenimu Shaibu
Many were benefiting from it from different level of power so none of them wanted it to end .
Some where seeing it as the starting point of the destruction of the north (the enemy of the north) them too will contributed in many aspects more precisely medias and to some extent they prevent those trying to calm the situations bring back peace with accusations that they were helping the bandits.
Shek Gumi try to engage these people to embrace peace the enemies of peace tried all what they can to stopped him by trying to declared them as terrorist .
The recent one that happened which was the turbine of a bandit kingpin in other to bring them close to the local authority so that the authority will have control over them and still more accusations on the emir without asking his reason for doing that .
So many things to ponder about.

This is really sad 😥 how did Nigeria get 2 these place? Hmmmmmmm
Because it refused to nip the problem when it started.
I'm really sorry for this development
It's a shame it got to this point.
There's the army and police
No doubt bigwills, that was a nice job. Thumbs up.
I also salute our amiable Governor El-Rufai for been vocal and honest. Nigerians needs to know that he has no power over the security agents. He can only call on the President who has the prerogative to order the military and national intelligence outfits.
Thank God, as it seems the governor 's request has been granted. May God bring peace and security to our beloved country.

This is not only sad, but it is also completely senseless! I bet, if you give some of the same people who are messing up their communities, the chance to live in places like America, or Britain, they would become some of the best community members. Why do we treat ourselves in such unloving ways?
Most definitely, something must be done to figure out why this happening; questions must be asked; state resources must be deployed to defeat this madness!
I refuse to accept the notion that, in a modern time such as this, a nation as rich as Nigeria, can't deal with this problem!
Take advantage of modern technologies to identify those involved in this madness and either bring them to justice or take them out; it is extremely doable, don't you think guys?
As I listened to the presenter's commentary, I developed ideas that can and must be used to deal with this problem: 1st, those who make decisions on issues like this, must be on the same page as far as going after those responsible, 2nd, the state or the government must procure surveillance technology to keep a bird's eye on all happenings in this place and without any public notification of intents, move on them followed by an immediate installation of potent surveillance capabilities to keep bandits out for good.
If Nigeria can't do this, shame on black Africa as a whole!
This was the plan by the western world all along. They inculcated self hate into us all.
We never appreciate ourselves.
We never support ourselves.
We never promote ourselves.
We've been transitioned to devalue and destroy ourselves and our brothers.
It's a long term destructive mechanism that's now almost impossible to eradicate.
Like a ghost town 🥲🥲🥲🥲🥲🥲
