I just binged all the Fiero vids, great job! The editing was done well, appreciated the voice over and knowledge shared. I used to own a 86 V6 4 spd about 10 years ago, such a fun car! I have a daughter a bit younger then you and I'm trying to share my auto knowledge with her. Congrats to your parents, this is so great to see you all working together to fuel her passion. Looking forward to the next videos. I really hope the YT algorithm picks you up and you start making some good money to continue your project along!
Thank you so much for watching my videos! Thats cool that you’re trying to get your daughter into cars! I wish you luck on any auto-mechanical projects that you work on with her!!
Hell yea for the old Fiero! I used to own an 88 GT was an amazing car and I regret letting it go. Fun fact my friend dropped and LS1 in his fiero and let me tell you that thing was scare insane. I had multiple people back into my fiero and it never left a dent due to the awesome plastic panels haha. Thanks for the great videos and best of luck in all the progress!
Yeah the thing about the plastic panels is funny, my friend once went into my car and she slammed the door open and dented the metal toolbox next to the car and the door was left unscathed. Lol
i'm ashamed to say i forgot about this channel some time during the build but im glad i subscribed in the beginning! youtube brought this back to my feed and im happy to see people my age working on their own cars💪 keep on wrenchin' AJ
@@kurtisstutzman7056 Thank you. I did but apparently my dad didn't take any videos of it. We used to impact gun, and then torqued them down to specification from the service manual.
I'll ask my dad, but the transmission shop did all the internet searching and purchasing of all the parts. They charged us for the parts, but they did all the work to find them on their own time.
Holy cow! You're probably the smartest Gen Z I've ever seen lol. Awesome job doing all that work! You may already know, but a manual transmission is pretty simple and I think you would be fully capable of rebuilding one yourself. Amazing to think there were no shops willing to mess with it, if they can work on engines, its not any more complicated to work on a manual transmission
Yeah, me and my dad thought it was crazy that no one wanted to work on it as well, I think its because people don’t really drive stick-shift cars anymore and think its a lot more complicated than it actually is lol
On the subframe restoration, make sure to lift with your legs, not your back haha, and it's best to wear goggles when burning out the bushings, they can splatter rubber, and that is not very friendly to your eyes!

Thank you! I put a lot of hard work and effort into restoring it!
Oh, the quality of your subframe prep👍
I'm actually ashamed of mine now 😪
Thank you TurboSlug! You have nothing to be ashamed of. You have the fastest Fiero in France!

Always use a torque wrench, though...! Especially on drive train bolts...!

You will appreciate this time with your dad trust me. I’m 29, and since I’ve moved away I miss working with my dad.
