I can tell you from expierence that Moebius kits are amazing. I have read that they are re-doing the Flying Sub, but I am serious jazzed that they are doing the Proteus.
Just got back from seeing Adam and Jamie live on tour, to sum it up; it was and always will be one of my favorite performances to have come to my hometown.
He reminds me of Adam Savage so much but just a bit plumper!
Adam's long lost twin! The resemblance is uncanny, he is just as enthusiastic about models as adam too

allluckyseven It's been out for a while, I can attest that it's a fantastic kit. And in scale with the Viper it's really big.

I started with Airfix, (who's new tool kits are top notch) and have built a couple of Moebius BSG kits all I can say is that they are excellent, very little flash and reasonably detailed. Given that many people do photo-etched and resin addon's for hyper detailing you can really go to town on them if you have the time and patience.
Frank Winspur is 1 of the nicest people you will ever meet. His models are incredibly detailed accurate and quite easy to build.
Been waiting to see a video on the ranger model kit ever since it was announced.

That flying sub brings back some good old memories of my youth,i use love watching that program when it first came out over here in the UK.
We need one of these RC (remote Control) companies to bring out a Johnny Quest Dragonfly RC plane and a RC flying sub,the sub doesn't have to go in water as long as it flies good,but i wouldn't complain if it could go in the water and fly. ;-)

Someone I know has recently brought a DIY melenium (excuse the spelling) falcon, it's a made up of thin steel plates and it's about $10. We got it from disney but I'm sure it's on the Internet.
Anyway, I thought it might be an interesting episode but I'm not sure if you've already done a episode on it but either way definatly very cool and also good way to spend an afternoon!

i have made about 10 of these kits and they are extremely fun to put together.
I love the fact that the Ranger is about to be available June, but it's a model KIT. I wish it was done already, I don't usually have the spare time to make it.. =(

Will these be available outside the U.S? I tried finding retailers in europe but to no avail, the official site only ships within the U.S.
I am working on developing the skills to do the Battlestar Galactica with lights and the PE kit. It is the PE that is getting me, I really suck at working with the pieces right now. PE is hard kids, be ready to ruin a sheet or two of it before you really get working with it down.
I'm hoping they'll re-release the Flying Sub kit.

I love that Moebius is producing the kits that it does.
But I really wish that they would do a better job of 'proofing' their kits before they go into production.
The cockpit of the 1/32 Viper Mk. VII is completely incorrect.
The vented cover of the Cylon Raider is completely asymmetrical.
The arms of the 'Coffin' on the TOS Galactica aren't straight.
The Cylon Centurion and the Viper Mk. II are 'open' meaning that you can see inside the model. Something that never should happen.
All of these things were easily fixable in the prototype stage without any extra cost to either themselves or the customer.
All they needed to do, was to pay more attention.
Moebius, I love your subjects, but please pay more attention at the prototype stage.

Interstellar is the worst SCI FI film I have seen for years ,It is like Signs/mel gibson crossed with Field of dreams with a tornado ,it makes ET look good and Logans Run look as good as Blade runner
