That's not a bad idea, but I must say I don't know that period of film very well. I've seen (and liked) a number of Marilyn pictures, but not many that they inspired. Any suggestions?
Fine film, altho what is the point of making her a redhead in a black and white movie? I guess because redheads have always been thought of as a little dangerous. Speaking strictly for myself I would have preferred for Harlow to have kept her platinum blond hair for the role as she looked very sexy that way. Incidentally altho there is of course no nudity there is at least one scene where it seems just outside of the camera's view flesh has definitely been bared.
You like what you see? Then why not tuck a few bills into my virtual waistband?

The ending is perfection… she brings her chauffeur along for her next conquest (a very young and handsome Charles Boyer)
Ooooo. Chester Morris and Una Merkel - very cool. Both starred in the underrated The Bat Whispers - one of the first film made in 70mm widescreen
Nice! I haven't seen The Bat Whisperers yet. Have to remedy that...
I love how you don't give away the entire plot. Entices People to actually go see the movie. ☺
All part of my evil plan to get people to watch obscure movies :)
@@XploitationRR Heheheh. 😁
Ever consider a video with Mamie Van Doren, Jayne Mansfield and the like for the Blonde Exploitation that occurred after Marilyn.

Red Heads are Fireballs, heheheh. 😁
I just read about how she died...goodness how sad. And how damn unobservant her "doctors" were. That was the worst part.
Yeah, that is a sad story. We might blame a little on how bad medicine was back in the day, but still, pretty terrible.

I guess they kept the red hair because the movie was based on a book of the same name. But, yeah, for a B&W film it doesn't make much sense :)
