As a teen I lived in Simi Valley for a few years. It was common to see Sid Haig around town, which only added to the surreal/creepy feel of living in Simi Valley in the late 80's
@@XploitationRR i was pretty timid back then...and probably high on weed and let's face it, The Dude had a look about him. Thanks for the channel and the great content.
Lori Williams was in a few beach movies. For instance, 'A Swingin Summer' the crowd dance scenes with Michael Blogget (spelling?) Anyway that's 2 Russ Meyer alumni in one beach film. And in this film 'its a Bikini World' that's Carolyn Brandt (Rat Fink A Boo Boo) of Ray Dennis Steckler fame doing the go go dance during the sequence with 'The Castoways' performing 'Liar Liar'.
It was cheesy but fun and an occasional beach film brings back to memories of the sixties. Was fun seeing Daddy as a different role for Sid. It was worth a watch, but on to the good stuff again!
Tommy Kirk was dropped by Disney after he came out as gay. Tragic. He was a great actor. One of my fave with a similar cast (plus HOT Toni Basil) is "Village of the Giants".
Love your channel. Can you do a video about Pat Woodell ? She was in Big Doll House, The Roommates, The Woman Hunt, The Twilight People and Class of 74. She was the original Bobbie Jo on Petticoat Junction.
@@XploitationRR I think he shot people(or whatever) with his fake eye. It was a Saturday morning sci fi kids show. He was the evil villain, I think he said the role helped save his house. Julie Nuwmar was in it, she didn't turn down anything.
"Sounds like the opposite of what we normal talk about on this channel" Also, the opposite of Sid Haig. If you don't know what Monster Mash is, statistically you probably aren't watching this channel. And I'm so glad you didn't spoil the plot of this one. I'm sure my mind will be blown by the end. This may be the most wholesome "shortcomings" gag you've ever done.
One can't help but make that kind of joke when you see a movie title like Gorgonzola. It writes itself and in fact would be your fault if you didn't make it.

The Animals were the best period. This movie was goofy but fun.
I'm gonna watch this one. Looks like perfect escapism.
Some incredible puns in this one. Excellent work as always.
Thanks, man! There's a lot of dancing in this one. Good fit for your "Yeah! YEAH! yeah!"

You had me at Lori Williams.
Unfortunately she's hardly in it :(
It's a bikini world...we just live in it.

Did you ever talk to him? He seems like he was a cool guy in real life.

See Sid Haig in the rare 1967 movie Pitstop, he’s having the time of his life in that one…
@@CycolacFan classic drive in movie!
There's Tommy Kirk again. It seemed like he was in every movie I saw back in the 60s. Yeah I'm old.
We're all old around here :)
Some of us are much, much older. A Biden type of old. Presidential material. My birth certificate is written in cuneiform.
This is as close to watching this movie as I will ever get.
But the review is very entertaining.
Thanks!

Mouth of the South, Jimmy Hart and his band , the Gentrys appear in this movie as well.
Oh, wow, that was Jimmy Heart -- I didn't make that connection at all.
@@XploitationRR yep. He's one of the background singers.
Wow! I’ve watched this movie and I forgot why… until you reminded me - I followed Lori Williams here!
She's worth following :)

Thanks for the tip! I'll check it out.
I Thought, 'Where The Boys Are' (1960) Started The Beach Party/Spring Break Genre Of Movies. Thank You. (Like #170)
I was just going by what Wikipedia says. They could be wrong :)
Frankie Avalon and Annette Fontana in Back to the Beach, 1987.
Is it worth watching? Or just painful cheese? :)
@@XploitationRRit’s got a lot of walk on cameos, including Pee Wee Herman singing Surfin’ Bird. Cheesy 80s fun.

I don't do videos on people -- but maybe I should!
@@XploitationRR Thank you for the quick reply
The late great Sid Haig, for me it when he was Dragos in Jason of Star Command. He didn't leave a piece of scenery unchewed in that show.
Was that the one where he had the crystal throwing stars?

Sid Haig also stole the show on his three episodes of the underrated 80s TV show _Just the 10 of Us_ as Janitor Bob.
That sounds familiar, but I don't think I ever watched it.
Puns really are stupid.
Yep. One of the lowest forms of comedy.
