I was out kayak fishing other day at Johnson Beach FL and saw big schools of anchovies moving down beach, way out past all sandbars. I believe spade fish were feeding on them, schools of 2-3 dozen at times. They weren't interested in ballyhoo (fishing for kings)but sharks in attendance.
Oceans East said, "The hardest part is getting the boat in the right place", but didn't say much else about that. Other than spotting them on sonar or crowding other boats at the CL, what tips or techniques do you have for getting the boat in the right place? Are spades usually suspended over wrecks, or are they always close to surface structure, such as the CL, the CBBT, and the windmills?
@@Frumundaair our eastern shore location carries live clams seasonally and we also carry salted sea clam at all our locations in the refrigerated bait section!
I have a 18 foot seaox with a 115 Johnson ocean pro and a 33 gallon gas tank would I be able to make it out their and back I never been out that far so just want to know before I try my luck
