Wow. This looks great. Most variations of this trick means you have to set it up in advance. With the size of the strings and the beads provided you can do the setup live, which is awesome. There is no need to hand the strings out if you handle them casually. Nice trick. Thanks for the review.
Thanks for the review, Scott. Just ordered this and i think it will be great to perform for kids. Easy to do and super visual. Having a nice storyline to go with the trick will give the effect extra impact.
Just ordered this Scott....think it's a really lovely trick, never seen it before but I think you could build a nice story around it before you perform....Great review👏🏼👏🏼☘️
To bad there was a defect in mine causing the string to come apart while setting up. TCC was supposed to send a new one which i have not received yet, 3 weeks later.
In the nicest possible way, play with your handling. The first times I performed it for a magician friend the same thing happened to me and I couldn’t understand why but the problem was the way I set it up and handled it.
Hi Scott. Great review. This looks really good. I saw a few other reviews and to me it looked like the person doing the demo was holding the rope almost like there was a slip knot they set up. But if there is no funny moves and it's super easy l will get this. It will break up the card tricks l do.😊🤟😊🤟👍👍
There are no knots of any kind. You could knot the two ends when tying them together but that’s not mentioned on the instructions. The whole process is very clean and open.
Hi Scott. I went and bought this effect. The props are nice, but for me at least it seems hard to get the laces to thread thru the holes especially the one part in the beginning. Is this normal or should they thread more easily.
It’s not something I struggle with. They push through quite easily for me. I’m not sure what to suggest with this as I’ve not heard of anyone having this problem 🫤
After a few times the heat shrink or whatever they call the covering on the ends tends to get easier to thread, first few times I practiced it they were difficult but later that night when performing over 6 times, never had a problem,
I've found that if you stagger the ends a little, they push through more easily. Just let one of them stick past the other about 1/2" (10mm), push them through then just tug the shorter one even. Nothing to it. Kids' eyes get really big with this one!
it would be better if you didn't cut the video at 02:30 and started the routine from the start-end...if you show the complete handling it would give even more "wow" to all of us who watch.(specially when you know the secret hehe). regards
I'm in a weird place. I HAVE to know how the ropes are gimmicked before purchasing it. But you can't do that without exposing it. I guess I'm passing on this one.
There is a very small part of each rope that’s gimmicked. They’re not special ropes or custom made. They do not come apart. The “gimmick” can’t really break. Once you know the secret you could easily buy your own ropes if you want to. That’s about everything I can say.
@@coryburns4309 If spec just casually inspects they probably will not notice anything, closer inspection like going over every inch or each one they probably will. Great trick Scott I ordered this a few days ago direct from TCC if you subscribe to the news letter they also give you a discount code on top 👍👍👍😀😀😀😀😀😀😀

Scott have you heard of cut and restored string by Jeff Sheridan ? It’s totally examinable at the end with nothing to ditch if your interested I would happily share it with you as I enjoy your reviews so much. Just let me know your email address and I will send you the link via Dropbox 👍👍😀😀😀😀
I’m not sure purchasing magic effects from Chinese/Hong Kong based magic suppliers is the same thing as actively supporting the CCP but absolutely people should be supporting local book stores.

Great review! I just purchased 3 of them. Two will be gifts for my hobbyist magician friends. Thanks so much!
I’m sure you’ll all enjoy it, Steve. Glad you found the review helpful.
Great review! I use this method in most of my kid shows. I purchased this for the clear beads. TCC deserves the credit.
Very good review, it looks fantastic I'm going to buy it. Thank you!
Great review as usual from Scott. This is beautiful upgrade on a classic effect. I’m in Gaz 👍👍
Glad you like it, Gaz. 🙌

Yes, although the trick is good it’s the story/presentation that will make it great.
super good

The cut is to protect the handling. It’s easy to spot part of the method by replaying the video if that part wasn’t cut out.
@@EverythingMagicPro99 I know, but still...
Decent review thanks, but... why do you talk in acronyms? TLDR? ????
I don’t talk in acronyms. I use one acronym. Which ironically stands for “too long didn’t read”. It’s a common term.

@@EverythingMagicPro99 hmmm. Ok... so are the ropes examinable at some point throughout the trick, before or after?
No. Spectators can hold on to the ropes and they’re unlikely to find anything but they will find something unusual if they examine them thoroughly.
