The Commando BO1, to me, is the benchmark for guns that are great without being overpowered.

I know it wasn’t a “good” AR, but that SC-2010 was my favorite from Ghosts. Just felt so good. And the reload animation is sassy.

If there's one thing I've been enjoying about these list videos, it's that it isn't just endlessly listing stats, but it's taking the guns in the context of their respective games.
Sure, on paper a gun's stats might look swell, but if it doesn't fit the game it's in or is simply just heavily outclassed by every other gun in the game, you put it lower than a gun that is statistically worse but simply belongs in the game it's from

Everybody slept on the XR-2. That was most definitely my best gun in BO3. The CM901 from MW3 was actually ridiculous as well. Dropped multiple M.O.A.B’s with that thing

@@swg_ashprime2852 same. my favorite ARs thats a lot of people sleep on is the MW 2019 FN Scar 17, the Man o War from Bo3, the rampart 17 from Bo4, and the AK 47 in MW 2019
@@LTAssassin Bro people SLEEP on the ak-47 and scar in MW2019. I also think that the Ram-7 is good too, it was seen a lot in wz during season 2-4 of MW2019 but ever since that it died in popularity and is still an amazing gun. The gun is slept on for how good its fire rate is.
xr-2 was great at mid-long range anywhere within close quarters and it wouldn’t work.

There js still a debate on my friends list for mw2 if the fomas the acr or the ump was the best gun I know this is assault rifles and the ump doesn't count but the acr is still my first choice

When 99% of the player base runs it with every gun, that doesn't matter. SP made everything good. If it didn't exist, the F2000 would be one of the worst guns.
As a veteran MW2 famas user, I can GUARANTEE that thing was OP. I mainly used it because that's what the Battle rifle from Halo was based on
I love how he said the An94 was "the final unlock which is what it should be it's the best" then proceeds to put 3 more assault rifles from Bo2 in front of it. To put this into perspective there are 9 ARs in bo2 so by his list it's actually middle of the road

Ik it was broken. But COD4 just one bursting with the M16 was sooooo satisfying. Maybe it’s my nostalgia from being 9 years old at the time but to me COD4 just had the best feeling guns in the franchise. Everything was simple and smooth

Facts. The Swat 556 was such an amazing gun in Bo2. It's almost god-tier with the Select Fire attachment.
@@zombieslayer7759 oh my god you're right, I completely forgot about how friggin amazing this thing was with select fire!! Extremely fast and mostly vertical recoil. Though you did lose a lot of your 3 shot potential you made up for it with the insane fire rate
@@Justus4All Even in full auto, the recoil is almost nonexistent. But you can still three-shot people at close range with it.

Technically the M14, G3 and FN FAL are Battle Rifles, not Assault Rifles. That's a fatal flaw by the devs but they simplified classes.

Finally, someone who recognizes the MW19 M13's amazing potential. It recently got a headshot damage buff, which is pretty cool.

The MW3 M4A1 introduced me to the gun back in the days. I still have a special place for it in my heart, every M4A1 does
Unpopular opinion but the smr from bo2 was underrated. Throw select fire on it and it was absolutely broken.
Man that segment about the COD WWII STG aged interestingly, given how good the gun is in Vanguard
I remember absolutely destroying with the BO2 SMR. That thing was a laser.
I loved using the Odin in MW 2019. Started leveling it for the camo challenge and hated it. By the time I had finished its camos though it was one of my favorite weapons. Certainly not the best in that game though. Still pains me to see it THAT low on the list.
The FAD and odin being so low compared to all the other assault rifles is a joke

I liked the Groza because it went toe to toe with some of the more dominant smgs of cold war.
Still to this day, the Scar from bo2 is my favorite gun. It was great at everything and those Iron sights were clean. It was unfortunately slept on by too many people becuase it was over shadowed by the m27 and an94 but those who used it can agree its slapped
Reload cancel was wild, had lmg level penetration, strong damage. It was mean!
BO3 M8 in my opinion is a top 10 AR. That thing was a satisfying to use and absolutely shredded

I remember using the FN Fal in BO1 with Grenade Launcher. I'm not sure why, but I rly liked the setup.
I feel like the F2000 in mw2 has one good use but it's weird basically you have to use it like it's an smg even though its an ar
I’ve been using the QBZ 83 since launch and I love it. It’s obviously outclassed by the Krig 6, C58, and Ak47
The QBZ is actually the most accurate rifle, except EM-2. But QBZ has a higher fire rate. It's the perfect Middle Of The Road weapon.

CoD 4 G3, MW 2019 AK, and the MW 2019 Scar 17 were my fav. The MW 2019 AK with 5.45 ammo was brutal up close.
while i agree with your list, the 5.45 ammo wasn't worth using at all as the recoil was cranked up to oblivion and its make very unforgiving to use.

I knew the Oden would be very low on this list, I play hard core search and with the attachments I use on it, it's pretty much an automatic sniper rifle so I love this gun, Everytime someone complains about hit markers, I'm always like, use the Oden then
If you're able to control the Oden it was ridiculous. The pure power of it is awesome.

I 100% agree on the MW2 FAMAS. It's by far the best AR in history of Call of Duty. I think I have gotten more nukes with that gun alone, than all the other ones combined.
Slap Stopping Power on it, alongside Scavenger and you are basically invincible.
It had super-clean iron sights (being the Magpul style flip-up sights), and that left a slot open for customizing the gun. Usually people either used the suppressor or FMJ bullets
Damn, the Tar 21 from MW2 (53) and Amax from MW2019 (50) are my favourite guns of all time! I put a lot of hours into them and it’s ranked that low. This man has no idea how great they are lol.

Can’t argue stats with anyone, but my all time favourite COD AR is the MW2019 M4. Versatile off the bat. But with a custom gunsmith build, it could be anything.

The BO1 Enfield is easily my favourite cod AR, solid performance without ever seeing it being used
It’s essentially a Galil that trades damage, range, and mag size, for faster handling.
Dayum, I used AE4 a lot in advanced warfare. Despite its statistical drawbacks I have had a great success using this gun by bruteforcing everything with young reflexes and relentlesness. These ol days

I always thought the MW2 Tar-21 was among the best ARs in cod history. Yes, it had high recoil but its DPS was absolutely unreal, I am pretty sure that with stopping power, it had the highest DPS of any gun in cod history. It was arguably overshadowed by the Scar-H which sacrificed DPS and ammo count for much lower recoil, but the sheer power of the Tar-21 gives it a special place no other gun had

If taking into account shooting the MW2019 AN-94 in successive short bursts to always get that fire rate boost it probably deserves to be higher
I understand seeing the MW3 M4A1 so low due to the horizontal recoil but it does hurt a little as it holds a soft spot in being the first gun I got a MOAB with in tdm on Dome.

When we were in the days of MW2 the FAL was my favorite gun but all my friends hated that gun because it was not automatic. I rarely saw people use that gun and it was slept on in the prime MW2 days.

The SMR was inferior to the FAL unless you used it in full auto. The FAL used to be better in that regard too until it got nerfed so now the SMR is the best select fire full auto gun pretty much.
I love the SMR in both full and semi-auto and it’s just such a fun gun to mess around with
The BO2 AN-94 was an absolute monster.
I enjoyed using the FAD. High fire rate and you're always reloading yes, but in close quarters you'd rip people to shreds

Mod2019, AN-94 is a very solid rifle, it's easy to control, kills quick even if you miss the burst shots.
F2000, the good ol' jet ski. Loved it.
I already have to agree about the MW2 F2000. It was fun and solid in the right hands but we have to compare it to monsters like the Tar, Scar, ACR, M4, and even the AK. There was just no room for this thing. Still a super fun AR though and I wish we saw more of it in cod games.
Edit: After finishing the video I’ll have to agree mostly. The ACR 6.8 is probably one of, if not the most broken ARs in cod history but the Famas really was nuts. Broken in BO1 and even more so in MW2. Heck you didn’t even need stopping power on it. But I’ll also agree on the ACR 6.8 being higher than the MW2 version. The 6.8 had way better damage with barely any worse recoil. Both are still the measuring stick for laser beam weapons in cod.
The AK12 RIP from aw should have made its ranking higher. One of the most OP guns ever

i dont really consider the M14, Mk14, M1 Garand, etc. to be assault rifles since they shoot full size rifles
I remember playing bo2 and my friend had a loadout I remember it perfectly because he would dominate he would carry the team in TDM with his fast trigger finger and the FAL
FAL in BO was amazing. I thought it hit harder than the M14 and recoil was larger but more predictable. That Double Tap was nutty.
The fara 83 is great at a distance . Idk what build your using but even with iron sights it melts
