I am living in Tampa for about 30 years . I am from Europe , and I find it horrible that there is not a good reliable bus system . If you do not have a car or your car is in the shop ,you really are stuck . Tampa is so spread out with a down town which mainly consist of banks and insurance companies. So - it’s in the car and out of the car . For me that is a big “ con” . No wonder there are many traffic accidents. 80 year old people still are driving because otherwise they can not even go to buy groceries. I agree that if you are into water activities- Tampa has many options. And if you do not mind driving a lot you might like it here.
This is awesome! My wife and I are actually relocating from Spokane down to Tampa next month, so this has great info. Especially since we just had several more days of snow (mid April). Looking forward to the sunshine!
Hope you guys are getting settled in! It is so wild to me that we can make videos on UA-cam and interact with people with similar stories across the country. What are did you end up in here in Tampa?
@@allaboutlivingintampa3996 came down here to finish my doctorate in Physical Therapy. It was a bit of a rough transition coming down right at the beginning of the summer, when we still had snow on the ground in Washington. But we’re loving it now!!

Not sure for your specific line of work. I have friends that said the police department and sheriff office are always looking. Rents will depend on where you are looking to move, but would say that rents are fairly high over the last 12 months.
