(2021) Pros and Cons Of Living in Tampa Florida
Carrollwood is a small deed restricted neighborhood built on an old orange grove around Lake Carroll. It is a neighborhood, not an area. The area is just called North Tampa. The entire North Tampa area started getting real trashy about 25 years ago so I moved to the property I bought in Lutz during the early 80's for $400 and acre. Now Lutz has been filled with undesireables so it is time to move further North. I'll just give each of my children a free house and move to my hunting property in KY full time. I was born and raised in North Tampa but the amount of yuppies moving in is so annoying that I am leaving. Just be aware of what you are getting yourself into.
Glad I could help!
I wished you could explain more about Cambridge Christian school.
Let me know if you have any specific questions that I can help answer:)
Yes I’m interested to know how much is tuition and what kind of scholarships they have. I don’t think I can afford the entire amount. I’m planning to move to Tampa 20 minutes from Cambridge. I need to know the tuition cost for 9th grade. Thank you so much for your quick reply and willingness.
@@allaboutlivingintampa3996also do they have employee discounts ? Or Ministerial discount for ordained ministers?
I have a contact for you at Cambridge Christian that can help answer all of those questions. Her name is Lisa Abbazia (Director of Admissions) 813-872-6744 x228
@@allaboutlivingintampa3996thank you so much! God bless you!
You missed Brooks such a great charter school
Sickles HS he can’t be serious that is not a good school
I still prefer Hallandale Beach Florida more it’s a beautiful city with a growing communities and businesses and a good nightlife.
Hi. We have just immigrated from Vietnam to Tampa FL. We wanna to find the school for my daughter (9year old, and got autism). Pls advice us for this case. Thanks.
That depends where in Tampa you are. My nephew has autism he goes to a public school in Oldsmar. He is thriving there.
@@a.caguax78Thanks. You are very nice. We are living at Citrus Park, Tampa , Can I have the school name ?
@@nguyenquang4595 Forest Lakes Elementary.
@@nguyenquang4595Sorry I thought I replied weeks ago. The school is called Forest Lakes Elementary. I hope you were able to find a suitable school.
@@a.caguax78 Appreciated with many thanks. You are a nice man.
Prices have sky rocketed in Carrollwood and Carrollwood village ❤ love the large lots and executive homes in Carrollwood Village. Plus the location is amazing, so close to tampa and everything yet feels like suburbia
Very informative thank You
Good advice!
What on earth is this guy talking about
Promo*SM 😴
Tampa is such a great city!
Using your house's equity to pay off unsecured consumer debt should be considered thoroughly.
Solid advice!
Good info!
It’s more like 200k making 100 not 650
Yes, unfortunately with rates increasing and prices not dropping it definitely has affected the amount someone can purchase.
Very informative! Can you do the other areas in Lutz for gated communities families?
Good vid. Thanks
Does math work different in Florida? Ain’t no way $100k income should be taking out a $600k+ mortgage.
You're correct. The numbers don't work now that the interest rates have increased. Since we did the video, rates have doubled unfortunately.
It’s more like a 250k house as of now
You’re right. There are a lot of buyers having a co-signor so there are two incomes to help them qualify. Others have the opportunity to have a non-occupying co-borrower.
@@allaboutlivingintampa3996 o ok that explains it.
I go to Berkeley prep and it’s a really good school that offer exceptional summer programs and classes 😊
Sorry this might be random but do you know anything about their scholarships…?
Everyone in Tampa/FL has someplace more to be than the other drivers. Regardless of circumstances. I’ve seen some ghetto trash speed by an ambulance at almost 20mph over the speed limit. Because in Tampa, screw everyone else. Even if it’s an emergency.
I live in the Chamberlain District. I think that's the worst school in Tampa. Luckily I'm gay and don't have kids.
Chamberlain and Adams are terrible the are graded 1-2
Please emphasize cons, so people stop coming here!!!!!
IM COMING!!🤣😝
I can’t rent an apartment nor buy a home and I make about 55k a year. Have to live with my parents for 1k a month in fort myers I own my car, have no debt, and have excellent credit.
Thanks..i will moving soon to this area
Great! Let me know if you would like me to put you in touch with a realtor when you’re ready:)
Dope 2 hear from someone who is a snow guru
Great info.tnx
Would be house poor at that point

sorry my mm dont want me to tell you guys what my school is called but i did
my school is witter wild cat school it has a parking lot
you did not show my school and i like your video
Thank you. What school is it? I tried to get to some of the schools that I had reliable information on to share:)
Thanks for the info! I’ve lived in Seattle for the last 12 years and I am so ready to move to Florida.
Let’s us know how we can help. Do you need some realtor recommendations?
Too much traffic, too many people, we have an abundance of big snakes and alligators.
Thanks for the video but many unanswered questions on the comments. How is the job market ? I'm in the Criminial justice field and how are apartments rent ?
Not sure for your specific line of work. I have friends that said the police department and sheriff office are always looking. Rents will depend on where you are looking to move, but would say that rents are fairly high over the last 12 months.
@@allaboutlivingintampa3996 thanks for your honesty !
@@faith6272 you’re welcome:)
Bro you are so right. I'm from Spokane myself. I'm currently near Fort Myers but planning to move to Tampa in the next few months.
Let us know when you're about a month out to talk about financing options.
Majority of people are making less than 100000, heck majority of households are making less than a hundred thousand in the US.
Yeah like? He says it so casually as if the average Joe can make 100,000. Shit maybe we’ll all start hustling and drug dealing to make that money
We have noticed that as well and have been doing a lot of qualifications for a 2 income household.
Only filthy goyim make less than 100k a year
Hola, que otra zona de Tampa es buena para vivir y que tenga buen acceso a las zonas céntricas??? Saludos
Would you rather Orlando or Tampa
I consider Orlando and little more metropolitan than Tampa.
that'll work if you want to spend 50+% of your monthly income on the house....
This city also has a-lot of wrestlers coming out of here like Big show Lex Lugar Hulk Hogan and Kevin Sullivan back in the days alot of wrestling events came here and Tom Brady also lives here Tampa Baucheers
do they have badminton club?
I am not sure... Haven't heard of one.
Massive tree roots crack the sewer pipes under the slabs. Until it backs up into the house you won't know you have RAW SEWAGE running loose under your house. $15,000 repair including jackhammers through your tile floors.
I'm ready to immigration for live in Tampa , it was so helpful information, thanks a lot your video. and I think you missed one Pros. to play a golf in Tampa,, am i right? ^^
I learned not to move to Washington. Im in Las Vegas but i think ill try texas. I Can handle hurricanes and humidity. Glad i watched this video
Hello, great video! I just wanted to know what area in Tampa has the most land like the country side one that might be just like Oviedo FL!? Thanks
Riverview area has lots of land
Not possible
What if your an orphan?
Awh hell 😢
Yea this makes no sense. Average interest rates are about 5.8%. On this type of home with 5% down after factoring in property tax and home owners insurance your gonna end paying at least $5,500/month. 100k/year is a little over 8k/month in gross earnings. After taxes and deductions your taking home about 6k. This leaves you with only about $500 bucks to for food, utilities, gas, and other expenses that you would need to pay for. No way anyone can do this on a 100k salary. I make 150k a year and my wife works part time and makes 30k/year and we have 2 kids. To live the lifestyle we want to live and be able to go on vacation with the family every year purchasing a 500k home with 10% down was the most valuable option. The only reason why we were even able to do this was because we were able to get a 4% interest rate on a VA loan because I was prior military.
At the time of the video they were lower but yeah insane people would stretch it that far.
This video was back at a time when rates were between 3.50-4% and assuming no debts you could qualify with good credit. This is just an example of what someone could qualify for, but that doesn't mean they always should purchase this amount based on their income. Other factors are involved like, if they have another source of income that is not being used to qualify or an additional person living in the house that is not on the loan (maybe bad credit). Rates have almost doubled now, so this videos calculations won't work in the current economic environment.
