I mean in terms of age gap relationships, I talked to a friend of mine recently who likes older men. She’s 24 and likes guys that are 35-40. Obviously that’s pretty different than 60-70, but I know a lot of women who date either a little or a lot older, and their reason is usually financial stability, emotional maturity, and experience. Which, to be fair, are all things that’s pretty hard to find in guys in their 20s. But yeah, when you start going higher than 40, it feels like there are potentially other motives. But I also have this to say. If a young girl is dating an old guy, and she is genuinely a gold digger, what’s the problem as long as the old dude is genuinely happy in the relationship? Like when he’s dead and she takes everything, he’s not gunna care about her intentions lol. You could make an argument that the old guy’s family deserves his stuff, but that is so context based that it’s impossible to know. What if he doesn’t have hardly any family, or they disowned him, or maybe they affiliate with him to get things? When my great grandparents died, family came to take whatever was worth the most money, meanwhile my dad just wanted sentimental things because he was raised by his grandparents. Being family taking a dead relative’s stuff for monetary gain is more atrocious than being a gold digger imo. At least the gold digger spent time with them in exchange for monetary gain. Some family won’t pay you any mind until you are on your death bed, then try to be there for you so they get put in the will.
Anyone who marries someone young enough to be his granddaughter is OBSESSED with age. For someone who goes out of his way to find a barely legal girl in another country to pretend that he doesn't care about age is almost as nauseating as he must look in the shower.
