As many here mentioned you are such a joy to watch and such a pleasure to listen.....your voice is great and this '' Hello, darling" bring such a smile to my face!
Hi Nick... thanks a lot for this tutorial. Please can i use chiffon for the cowl? Do you think it might be too light? Please let me know what you think.... thanks a lot.
Sir A request from a big fan from india . . Please make one video on total process that goes on to make a garment . Like from the starting inspiration board to the sketch ,drapes, then pattern ,then stitching details . .
Dear Nick, My mother and I have been trying to make ”Back Drape Sleeve” and we are unable to get the cowl like pattern results for some reason. It is out first time trying out this pattern. Do you knows how to cut and sew “Back Drape Sleeves”? It will be a big help if you can help us out. Also we are not professional, we just sew our own clothes and we don’t sell it. Thank you for your help & time
hello and thank you once again for the tutorials; very self explanatory. how do you finish the garment, after draping; hem, etc. also, I noticed you do not have any tutorials for the bateau/boat neckline; similar to many of the garments worn by Meghan Markle-Duchess of Sussex.
And one more ,Nick ,what Size do you recommend for a Dress form ,one that will allow me to size up and how do I size up if am using a small size dress form for large size ?Think you so much
Temwani Banda I hope this is what you are looking for. Nick already had a video about making a dress form with larger measurements. Hope this helps! ua-cam.com/video/HrGBTFk5RTo/v-deo.html
MK fashion designer you don’t sew the actual piece of fabric you draped and wrote all over. You mark all the pleats and everything you draped, remove the pins and remove the fabric from the dress form. Then you clean up any of the cut edges and trace it onto pattern paper to make the pattern. The pattern can then be used to cut out new pieces of fabric that can be sewn to make the draped garment
