People misunderstood Allahu Akbar is not something only said in a war ...its also been said when someone good happens , and many things like it

As an muslim this makes me feel so proud for my religion and culture.. I love how Ubisoft represented Islam backdrop and culture.. They really showed respect and compassion in world making, voice acting and soundtrack
Yes ubisoft represents islam very accurately..like when they show 10th century middle eastern women without hijab that was a common practice back then, who also happens to be leaders. Very realistic yeah?
Don't be so naive, ubisoft doesn't give a s*** about your religion and culture. They are only using it as a bait in order to make gullible people like you buy their mediocre games

Yeah and the time period is probably the reason for it.
Classical Arabic was a really formal language and, at times, they were very figurative in how they make their sentences come across. It's very unique.

This is what we need from the AC franchise again. Stories in cool points in history with authentic languages and casting for immersion. I’m not Muslim or Arabic but I’ve always found the Middle East to be interesting historically and I enjoy listening to spoken Arabic (AC1 and Revelations y’all) hopefully the Japan game developers take serious notes because this is how you pay honor to another culture while respectively letting a gamer temporarily exist within it from the viewpoint of the game’s protagonist.
By that I mean like how you FELT proud to be Italian as Ezio. And proud to have an African mother as Aveline. You feel like a part of the lineage a little bit because the character you’re inhabiting is.
I feel like every AC gives you that feel. You really get invested into the culture and take it as serious as the characters do, because the games make you understand the meaning of these practices and words. Like, I felt connected to Egyptian culture during AC Origins, and like in Valhalla, when a character was like "Alright, we'll settle this IN A HOLMGANG", I was like, aw snap, not the holmgang, you know he means business.
Wait didn’t they speak Latin not Arabic (or Aramaic at the time it would called) i genuinely don’t remember AC1 but AC2 they definitely spoke latin they were in Latin Europe Italy
@@FloridaMango they spoke 14th century Italian in AC2. Altair was speaking Arabic in AC1 but the animus filtered it into English so Desmond could understand it.
Aramaic is a separate language from Arabic. They’re both Semitic languages but Aramaic has more in common with Hebrew than it does Arabic.
@@Alex2468ful I guess your right but even now for me personally it’s still difficult to tell Italian and Latin apart. But since you seem knowledgeable let me ask is Italian the closest to sounding Latin then say French or Spanish?
@@FloridaMango Italian, Spanish, Portuguese and French are all like cousin languages if that makes sense.
Italian and Spanish are the closest you’ll get to Latin which is considered a dead language by all accounts. It’s roots do exist in the languages listed above and it helped lay the foundation.

First thing i had in mind when they said "there's no God but God", was Ubisoft is trying to avoid controversy, because that's also a sentence when someone wanted to convert their religion to Islam.
So I checked the Arabic Dub, there's no problem in that. Ali's quest chain was basically a Jihad-like Rebellion.
"There is no God but God" is the literal translation
The majority of scholars has said that the real meaning behind it is “None has right to be worshipped except Allah”.
What controversy? The only mistake is the spelling. It should be "There is no god but God" One should be lowercase g meaning deity while uppercase G means the one true deity.
The actual mean is " there is no god except allah"
