I’m watching in the UK and absolutely loving your videos. They’re entertaining and really informative. Not all the info in business is transferable but most of it is and obviously the gear and techniques stuff is and motivational attitude and lack of BS is brilliant. What you experienced is very typical. These are national home builders. While they might have on site agents who work on Saturday, they are probably busy with potential home buyers. They should have an answering service, but they don’t because they will sell all those homes regardless of them answering the phone because of the lack of inventory-they can’t build them fast enough. Also, you definitely won’t get anyone in operations on the phone on Saturday. While Realtors work all days of the week, operations positions are mo Monday thru Friday, regular business hours. Might be best to call corporate and not the model. Good luck with future calls!
Hey Austin, Ive bought your course. Any advice on how to social proof yourself when doing cold outreach like this, before you've got all the reviews and a nice website up? How can I make my business look better to prospects?
Good question. your going to want to get pictures, reviews and a website ASAP. If your not quite there yet though, i would focus on getting at least some proof. Your going to need to have something to send someone as in pictures or somewhere where you can refer clients too. Like your website. If you dont have any of that yet, you may have no business cold calling commercial. If its residential, Learn sales and how to talk to people. build value in the service itself.
Hi Austin, I am curious to know what you find to be the points of liability? I can imagine people complaining about chemicals falling in flower beds, lawns, driveways, etc. Whats the typical outcome for these sorts of issues? Thx
Hey Austin, with these commercial properties, do you recommend having the right pressure washing equipment to tackle these sizes of properties? I don't yet have the skid or trailer set up but have a solid pressure washer and surface cleaner with hoses. Do you find that sometimes they don't have access for water to use, or are you able to complete these jobs with what they provide on site? Thanks man, great stuff.

Haha got me worried because I’m from the uk and I’m starting my outdoor cleaning business and iv had a trailer bespoke made to be exactly like yours, I have just gone for a different jetwash because I could get the one you have imported! Been 3 months in the making, I get it at the end of the month

Have you consider window cleaning yard signs, in person door knocking or office visits instead of cold calling?
Cold calling can be soul destroying especially these days, but you never know some great deals can come from it if you are persistent.
