Yeah , very good tip, thank you. I've used paint thinner (mineral spirits) before. A partially filled small bottle can be used for multiple cleaning. Aceton as you mentioned is another option, too. For mixing epoxies, using a silicone cup or sheet would be a good choice as cured epoxy could be easily removed from.
I just discovered this for myself last night. When soap didn't work I got out the 99% alcohol and it worked a charm. Other channels say to use acetone but I'd rather not use that because of the fumes.
