I appreciate some of the changes, although I'd say some of them aren't needed. I think the biggest problem for me was and is the quantity of the Mortars and the placements of those crates. I think had they be limited to something like Mortar x5, I think that would be okay. Maybe Mortar x3 would have been viable, but that would be solely speculative to the player and their skill with them. I don't know, personally I didn't mind the original Dam Busters in Competitive. That said, I do appreciate some of the new spawn positions, because I think that was quite troublesome in the original map. Especially, if someone got a 1,000 LBS Shell or an F-Rain Shell into the opposing crevice.

I just personally think that what the developers did with the majority of maps, be it single player or multiplayer, they did a pretty bang up good job. I'm not saying all of them are perfect, by any means. But the majority of maps have grown on me right since Day 1. And that I feel, I can thoroughly appreciate the majority of choices made by them, ultimately.
@ Yup! I’ve even had a look at some of the unused maps that remain in the games data that we can access via cheat engines. I actually like *that* rendition of Pdrag over the current Death Patch that we have (though it would be better with slippery tiles in places). Not to mention the presence of randomised crates tells me that it was planned to be used for Deathmatch mode.
