She is so precious! NICU life is hard - it’s not normal to just “visit” your baby! My time in the NICU definitely allowed me to witness God’s miracles and appreciate His blessings daily!!!
So precious. My first was a NICU baby 2 months early now she’s 9yrs old about to outgrow me and such a sweet girl. So definitely glad to hear such good news. :) congratulations on such a blessing

I remember the doctor telling me on April 1st that my baby girl was ready to go home the next day. I thought he was pranking me. Lol the excited feeling of going home was definitely uplifting. We had been in the NICU since January 23rd. Can’t wait to see your bringing her home video next 🙂♥️

My baby was in the NICU for a couple of months and I remember how exciting it was when she passed the car seat tests... those last few steps to getting her home were the BEST... congrats momma

Hi everyone i gave birth to my daughter 2 months ago at 35 weeks of pregnancy but baby groth stoped at 29 weeks and also i had preeclampsia, my baby didnt move in the womb for one day...has been 2 month in nicu facing a lot of difficulties becouse of sepsis blood infection klebsiella breathing problems,anemic,brain bleeding at stage 2 feeding intolerance first and not being able to breastfeed or bring the breasr milk becouse of covid 19,no visits at all...if someone has been throught the same or similar thing please tell me if the baby had any problems later please
Hi mama, first off congratulations! You are so strong! I know these times are harder than anyone can imagine. I’m praying for you and your baby🙏🏼 Preemie babies are strong and resilient. My baby girl was born at 32 weeks and 3lbs, I know how it feels to worry about your babies future. This is what helped me cope and not feel too anxious about the things I could not control. I listened to the advice and followed what the neonatologist said, even to this day and my baby is 1 years old now! I took her to every appointment and never missed one no matter how far away the doctor or specialist was and I did what each doctor asked me to do for my baby. Once your baby leaves the NICU you can have an evaluation done to see if your baby qualifies for any type of therapy (i.e. speech therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy) if your baby doesn’t qualify at the time ((which is normal)) you can ask them to reevaluate when your baby is a little older. This may happen since your baby’s adjusted age will be much younger when she goes home. I know this can feel overwhelming and we only want to make sure our babies have the best life but take it one step at a time mama! You are doing a great job! I’m proud of you!
