- If you love the Peanuts then you need to visit this museum. On October 2, 1950, three kids appeared on the funny pages of seven newspapers. Over the next 50 years, Charlie Brown, Patty, and Shermy would be joined by a whole cast of characters and forever change the landscape of the Sunday comics. Now we can explore the man behind Snoopy, Charlie Brown, and the rest of the Peanuts Gang.

Snoopy lo más tierno del mundo...!!! ❤
A few minor corrections, because that's the kind of comic strip nerd I am 😅: "Hagemeyer" and "It's Only a Game" aren't from the 1940s and they don't predate Peanuts. They were drawn in the late 1950s as a collaboration between Schulz and another artist, Jim Sasseville, as an outlet for more sports gags but told from an adult perspective. "Hagemeyer" was never picked up; "It's Only a Game" ran for a little over a year, but never achieved the same level of fame as Peanuts.
Thank you for your insight!!
Great details!
