Rhino Tutorial Making a model in rhino and flowing scales / texture onto it

- A quick tutorial showing one way to make a snake shaped model with curve network using Rhino cad and flow scales / texture onto it. its important to have an uncut patched surface for the flow along a surface command to work correctly. Also its pretty computer intensive so just give it time it will work in the end. Your pc may say the program is unresponsive but that will pass and it will work in the end .(if you have done it right !)

thank you so much sir... a person with little knowledge of rhino will require only commands not your audio.. sir you've done it very nicely.. thank you so much for your time...
Omg there are too many people complaining. Just watch the tutorial again. The tutorial really helped me a lot by showing me how to use new commands. Thanks
I thought i'd leave a big thank you word for coming back to this vid for the xxx time. one day I learn. Thanks!
Well done. Some of these rhino commands are out of this world
THANK YOU VERY USEFUL
Great tutorial, i loved it and it has improved on my skills in Rhino.
Thank you for this! I didn’t even use the audio and yet it was clear to me. People just love to complain 🙂 Maybe if they know the basics of rhino they’d understand this
Glad it was of some help!
Thanks for the tutorial, this was very helpful. I managed to create a similar model, but I used corner-corner when generating the rectangular surface.
Really easy, thanks for share! New ideas to my next designs!
No problem :) you still managed to teach me a lot of things:) please post more
Thank's a lot!
This is really helpful for a beginner like me :D
thank you it was VERY useful for me
THANKS A LOT josef1 , u r a lfesaver!!!
Thank u Josef .. it's so useful for me ..
yeah I know, sorry ,you can read the command line in hd and full screen hope this helps
thank you, very helpful! i was trying to do it with closed curves and getting nowhere.
Yeah I enjoyed this vedio it was useful Good job Man keep it up
Nice lesson, thank you. Can you do same with t-spline crated snake's body? I mean tsPipe or something. Body will be more complex, and CLOSED. How is UVCurve will working then?
The guy really knows what he is doing with Rhino. Unfortunately, he has no idea about audio. Can't hear much and he mumbles a lot. Still, you can learn something by watching.
Really good video, by the way, what laptop do u recommend to use for architectural studies? thanks a lot
thank you!
Flow Along Curve step didnt work for me. Followed everything exactly like in the video. What could have gone wrong?
great video but it would be better if you see it without sound...
WHAAAAAAT? What did he say!!!!?
can't tell what you did at 16:52 cuz the screen got cropped off :(

damn! use zoom extend to selected objects. You know your way around rhino, but it tooks you forever to do stuff with all those miss clicks, zooming, paning, etc
and FFS.... maximize the viewport you are working on. Use lock and unlock more often. Getting somo sort of cancer while watching you.... it's painful.
Hi Oscar thanks for the feedback its much appreciated, If you made videos back in those days you needed to minimise the screen to around quarter of the normal size hence all the panning and zooming . This was done so you could get a decent resolution in the video for UA-cam. The recording software could not deal with full screen it also made things lag a lot, so it was difficult to work as normal and I always tend work in 4 screen maximising screens is for less able users but hope it helped you out anyway.
Just a thought though, Its possibly not as painful as having to deal with disrespectful comments from the likes of yourself joking about cancer do me a favour and grow up, you never know you may be taken seriously.
why cant i press the base along corner
Thanx
please can i import 3ds max to rhino
holy shit, most annoying sound i have ever heard! but thanks
+Francisco Lazo no problem
LOL. i suppose when u r creating a snake you need to speak like one to.
I have problem stuck in the " flow along structure step", I have checked everything and previous steps plus also fitted the appropriate scale of texture objects into the UV Plane, still cannot figure out what's wrong with it.... Can any one help?? I checked my layers too, no problem in it
What is the problem ? its difficult to workout without a picture ,if you follow the command line it should help also check the rhino help videos they will point you in the right direction
I was facing the same problem, if you draw a surface below the rectangle (the projected uv curve) you will be able to select and do the rest. :)
nice tutorial but i had to mute it and put some of my own music....
you really should see it without sound.
How did you keep getting the point to show?
You can use F10 to turn on points and F11 to turn them off or config them to a different hotkey in rhino settings
Josef1cnc Also you can push Esc key twice to turn points off. Very useful
you dont show thw tool bar... sorry
Nice Video, but your audio can BARLEY be heard!!
he speaks to himself i think
I can hardly hear a thing. I can't make out what you're saying at all.
does it work on mac?
I think you will need Windows 7 64bit with BootCamp to run Rhino 5 on your Mac.If you check the mcneel website there is info on what you need to do.
thank you
the loudest thing on your audio is your dam breathing! come on! fix your audio please.
I try to do my best but running the Galactic Empire, all these sith meetings to go to and the Rebel Alliance playing up I struggle for time to edit the videos but thanks for watching and may the force be with you.
+Renato García hey renato... Go fk yourself...
I learnt alot from your video! Good that you didnt care about the trolls :)
ok?
Do you know anyway I can get Rhino for free online? ;]
there is a free trial at www.rhino3d.com
