I’m amazed at some of the high prices that I’ve seen in other thrift stores that people have been to.
Im in a small country town in Australia, luckily our thrift stores are community minded and very reasonable with their prices to cater for all family circumstances and budgets.
We also have a goodwill store here in the city and at times their prices can be expensive, so alot people wait until the discount day (normally a Wednesday) to purchase items.

@@tinamcelyea5972 the volunteers/workers definitely do a great job at maintaining the cleanliness of their stores, which is a nice feeling for customers. Also the ones which I go to, the volunteers wash and clean all items that get donated before placed in store so they definitely go the extra mile for customers 🙂

Only thing is the prices. It’s supposed to be for low income families. They need to cut the prices by 50% or more across everything
@@hereweare9096 Most of thrift shops I go to are pretty fair on their prices I believe. But I agree some can get a bit heavy handed with their pricing especially for low income families.
Those prices were great! Our Goodwill would have charged triple or more. That’s when I think lower income people just can’t afford even the Goodwill it’s so sad.
