RyanTuerck yeah understandably but you certainly picked the right man for the job. Ingenuitive as hell. It’s awesome to see how his mind works with his fab work.
@@RyanTuerck I was griiting my teeth wen he was cutting up probably 200 quids worth of fittings 🤑😅 Love the videos do you edit them yourself or does rs help?👍🏻🤙🏻🇮🇪
He for sure carries his nuts in a wheel Barrell I've watched like all of this series and I'm convinced he's a robot. The amount of times he's looked at spacing and was spot on to the 1/16th of an inch from eye sight is fishy 😂
honestly, people complain about Ryan just filming and not doing anything, but seriously the craft of welding and fabricating is such an interesting and entertaining thing to watch I really don't mind if Tuerck isn't doing anything at all because i am greatful.
I mean I pay Dom to work and do a decent amount behind the scenes so I honestly don't care about a little razzing. It's all good. I'd also rather have Dom kill it on quality since this car is going to get hammered on than have me build it and end up having to fix a bunch of stuff.
So your not worried about vibration through the waterpump into the lines? I wouldve figured you would put small soft lines going between the pump and hard lines as the vibration from the waterpump and high heat of the system will cause micro cracks and end in line bursting on the track. Also I would mount the waterpump with rubber mounts as it is gonna be REALLY loud through the cabin of the car.
We aren't worried about anything mentioned above. The car is gutted with a roll cage and will be driven with a helmet on so not worried about any extra noise. Can't hear the water pump going with how loud the radiator fans are as well as the engine.
By far my new favorite page on UA-cam. You guys kill it. In three days since discovering I have picked up so many tips, and realized I need more tools that would make life so much easier. Discovered the McMaster carr app too which is awesome and scary for my bank account all at the same time. I do have a quick question on the tube you used for 16an, do you know what size the tube you used for it is? I have a rear mount radiator I was going to use an line on but after watching I’m going to build some. Found some 6061 tubing on the app that look good just not sure on id and od.
Hi guys love all the videos. I’m currently building a Audi Quattro s1 and want to fit a axillary water pump for the Radiator in the boot, this is something I have never done before. The coolant lines to and from the engine, am I right by saying they run as normal or do I need to put a loop in bypassing the engine so the coolant goes around and round until the thermostat opens, or the loop isn’t necessary? Thanks for your time
Do those AN fittings allow for any kind of deflection like V bands? I’m sure the piping is light enough and the chassis doesn’t flex much down there, just curious!
Do you find that overall that the alluminim is cheaper than the lines? Vibrant's likes are around $140-200 for a 10' roll ranging from $140-$200 for a -10/12/20an lines. I did the math once out of curiosity and found that a inline pump with all the nessecary lines and fittings is like $1,200- $2k
your math sounds about right. I would assume the aluminum pipe is cheaper per foot than AN line in that size but then you have AN weld bungs on each side, accecss to a tig welder, filler rod, gas, etc. Prob still comes out cheaper in the end.
@@RyanTuerck very true. I guess when it comes down to it they each have their pro's and con's and while some one is build a car they will ultimately end up with what their budget allows/most convenient at the time. I would assume alluminim is cheaper in the long run cuz they'll still need to use the welder to weld other alluminim or steel materials.Soft lines or hard, they're both really cool and interesting to see which drivers/builders choose which routes to go not just coolant lines.
Good question. Should have mentioned that. You don't need to run the factory water pump with this size electric water pump. We will not be running the OEM pump.
It will get slightly warmer but not hot or to a point where it's an issue. If we were drag racing this car looking for every power advantage I would prob route them differently.
Next time Sam wants to talk some smack tell him to get to work in his s14 and get some content out on that thing. Still waiting on that dom weld review
When you’re so confident in your fab skill that you cut Vibrant fittings apart and make hard lines out of soft line fittings, what a flex.
LOL Seriously. Not that I had any doubt but it just felt weird.

Driftidiot is the man! seeing how far he's gotten is pretty cool.
Man crazy to think that tuerck’d was back in 2013. Remember watching that show befor I could drive
Tuesday morning complete 👍🏻
Pretty good stuff. Not sure I would have fitted pipe until pump location was well sorted.
cant believe that you just made a video showing us just two things, we need more Tuerck!! MORE!!!!!! from your #1 FAN.
Haha. More awesome stuff coming. Motor is next I believe.
@@RyanTuerck sure thing man, cant wait ma man.
Looks good i'm exited to see it on the track
Same!!!! Can't wait.
This are the best fuel and water lines I ever seen, braided lines suck and I have seen some leaking. Great video👍🏽
Definitely slap a certified #Domspec sticker on the whip

loving these vids mate
Sup Tuerck! Evening here in PH 🇵🇭 🙂

Hahaha Dom giving me bunch of good ideas for my next drift car build hahaha
I'm surprised you don't use that "perfect" sound bite on your edit when you're doing the beauty shots of Dom's craftsmanship!

Are those orb fitting in that ewp water pump
how did you prime the pump? any issues with the inlet facing down like that?
Which MW gloves are those? FR? FIR? They look sweet.
Do those AN fittings allow for any kind of deflection like V bands? I’m sure the piping is light enough and the chassis doesn’t flex much down there, just curious!
No they def won't have much deflection. But I don't see it being an issue unless the water pump or hard lines shift or come loose.
is it ok to mount a centrifugal pump vertically?
Has a water pump always looked like a turbo?
These Davies Craig ones do. Other ones are shaped differently.
