They have had a lot of members come and go. They were formed in 2009 so they've been around 15 yrs. They were part of the early age of the modern All Female Japanese bands. They are all in their 30s by now. Note at one point their singer quit and they brought on Fuki to finish their tour... this was so successful they did a side project Of Fuki and Gacharic Spin for an album under the band name Doll$Boxx... If you like this and BabyMetal and Band Maid... check them out....
With Gacharic Spin you get whatever they feel like doing at the time, funky, ecclectic, totally unique, love that you recognised how insane some of the stuff they're doing in this track is I dropped a donation on your PayPal for their sideproject
Great reaction! Since I can never again hear "Mindset" for the first time, I'm addicted to first-time reactions! Gacharic Spin was formed in 2009 and they are one of the most talented, versatile and creative bands on this planet. They play music in a variety of styles: rock, hard rock, prog, punk, heavy metal, funk, jazz, soul, disco, techno, electro. But the essence of Gacharic Spin is not the style but the energy, always intensive, very dynamic, sometimes chaotic, and super groovy. If you like heavy the next stop should be "I wish I". And: no working instruments were harmed in this video.
Indeed. I didn't discover GS until after Angie joined them. I did a deep dive into their back catalogue over the last four years and I have to say that without Angie especially, but also Yuri on drums, they just wouldn't have done it for me. Their current line up is definitive GS, and young Angie has a lot to do with that. A greatly underrated talent so far, it seems to me.
Yay Gacharic Spin! They all sing (bassist a little less), multiple, multiple instrumentalists so sometimes you will find a certain member on a different instrument, quite a wide variety of genres they play in, and their live stage antics can be hilarious, plus there was that zombie film they were in (no really ^^)
There not as young as you would think, the celebrated their 15th anniversary last year. The video is a few years old though, an Angie (the lead singer in this song) joined in 2019 when she was 17 years old though. So yeah, older band but newish face.
Gacharic Spin are very cool and fun girls! A friend of mine, Wave Potter, a reactionist, got to go backstage at their concert in Houston, hang out with them, and interview them because he was the winner of their worldwide contest where they requested reaction submissions to one of their songs. Then they selected the best reaction in the world. There were only two winners, one from Japan and Wave won the other, from the rest of the world. Then they did a reaction to his reaction and posted it on their channel. They loved him and were cracking up the whole time! During that time, I had helped Wave build his channel from 4K subs to over 100K now, so we worked together for over a year and a half and became friends. I introduced Wave to YOYOKA, and she eventually ended up visiting him at his home in Wisconsin and jammed with him in his studio. A highlight of his life. Then YOYOKA said she was coming to Las Vegas, and I told Wave I would host them in a home stay so he vouched for me and YOYOKA stayed at my home 3 different times with her family. Fun times!
@@RynnoReacts Indeed! 😀 Through YOYOKA on her trip here, I also got to meet Anderson.Paak of "Silk Sonic" (backstage at their concert) and EllenPlaysBass, a 9 y.o. bassist that lives 3 miles from me that YOYOKA did a colab with. Ellen has 600K subs, more than Lovebites and Nemophila put together and just under the number that BandMiad has. She will surpass BandMaid this year. Cool times!
@ Wave's a cool guy! Did you see Wave's reaction to Gacharic Spin's reaction to his reaction? That is like looking into a hall of mirrors. All parties involved had a ton of fun.
Many members of Gacharic Spin sing. BTW the drummer is also a guitarist and she sometimes scream. I have seen their lead vocalist also scream. Howerver usually they are not that kind of band. I love Gacharic Spin because of their musicianship and entertaining aspect.
The instruments they used came from a factory that refurbishes instruments - these were some of the ones they couldn't save 🤷♂ . IMHO Jazz Funk sums up this song . BTW with the exception of the main singer Angie they're not as young as they look - for example the drummer Hana is 39 ( I need some of that Japanese water ! ) and she also plays guitar and about 6 other instruments . There are 4 of them that sing regularly . They used to have " dancers " before Angie came along and Oreo on keys and Hana shared the singing . If you want to check out just how manic their live shows are then I'd take a look at this from 2016 - " Hunting Summer " - ua-cam.com/video/tRHkselRptI/v-deo.html - guarantee there's a couple of things you've not seen on a stage before 😉
Gacharic Spin line-up since 2019 is : they are 6. 3 mains vocalist & 3 Backing Vocals. Backing vocals. YURI on drums & backing Vocalist (not on this MV due to maternity leave) replace by the previous drummer HANA. TOMO-ZO Lead Guitar & backing vocalist F-CHOPPER KOGA on Bass & backing Vocalist. MAINS VOCALIST HANA Rythm Guitare & Main vocalist ( previous drummer) harsh vocals and Electro-Harmonix. OREO REONA keyboard and main Vocalist ANGIE1/2 main vocalist & Dancer. It's a unique sound they've blend a lots influence( pop, funk , rock, punk, jazz, metal...) to create their controled chaos sound
Gacharic Spin = perfectly coordinated chaos, or as they describe themselves a 'Entertainment Band'. 🔥🤘🏻 Look in the dictionary for music under 'versatility' and you might find their name mentioned. :) If there are rules for them, then only those that they set themselves. Musically, they don't necessarily follow 'conventional' approaches... Seriously, I've rarely seen a band with so many ideas and faces, and I'm not talking about the number of members, which is currently 6 by the way. Their actual drummer Yuri was on maternity leave at the time of this MV, so Hana (blue hair) switched from her guitar BACK behind the drums. She's a true multi-instrumentalist and has played the drums for GS for many years. This band exists for over 15 years and except for the pink-haired singer Angie, all of them are well over 30. :) _____________________ 「 _"Our rock never dies ever. Thanks for the great reaction! My favorite song of their's from this insanely high energy bunch of gals! Oreo, the keyboardist is crazy high energy and wacky (in a good way). Nice try my friend, but you are way off on the pronunciation...lol Little help direct from the girls Mouths! " How to pronounce Gacharic Spin " ua-cam.com/video/6N_4QVCBK8g/v-deo.html Yes, Japanese and ages, 25,30,36,38 and 38 or around there. I would go with J-Pop (Japanese Pop) / Japanese Rock. And that's Angie, lead vocalist who cut her hair and dyed it bright pink. She has been in bright pink for as long as I can remember now. Most of the girls do vocals at some point, Hana, the drummer in this song does everything. No telling where you will see her. She plays guitar, and sometimes just sings with Angie, no instrument. Sometimes drums, but they got a new drummer (Yuri) in 2019.

Great reaction to one of my favorite bands. My recommendation for a different, and harder side of them, is Gacharic Spin - I wish I (Official Live Video) in 豊洲PIT (Lyrics in English) ua-cam.com/video/nhFse5ZBlLo/v-deo.htmlsi=jHe5r8xJAndmlRWo Yes, these women are extremely talented but hard to pigeonhole since they can put a variety of genres into their song writing blender and somehow make it work. Angie (pink hair) Hana (drummer who now plays guitar) and Oreo (keyboards) are the main vocalists. Their stage energy is off the charts. They have gone through many changes during the years but the song linked above is with the new drummer and Hana playing guitar.
I was going to recommend this song on PayPal this weekend but had trouble connecting. But I was going to recommend the live version as I am no fan of destroying instruments didn't like it when the Who did thar in the 70s and still not a fan... Note the drummer Hana is a musical prodigy and can play any instrument with a high degree of technical skill within a short time of playing... she even plays the guitar in some songs where they need 2 guitarists. She's the Japanese Female Equivalent of Edgar Winter.

Hi again, Rynno. As you keep falling farther and farther down the J-Metal/Rock rabbit hole and visiting my favorite bands I'll be around. *Hana* is a superb drummer, but she has switched to guitar now so she is able to sing more freely. New drummer *Yuri* is also very good, but with a different style. For a 'different style' from this amazing band, try *_I Wish I_* ua-cam.com/video/-R6Nrr_omjE/v-deo.html Hana is already on guitar, but they had a session drummer for this song because Yuri was on maternity leave. BTW, it's Ga char (like char broil) ic Spin.
For the most part, these gals have been around for a while, the pink haired singer is the youngest, Early twenties, while the rest of the band is in their mid to late 30s, their range of music is too broad to put into a single category, in this video there's only 5 of the 6 current members, and it's the only band that I have ever seen where all 6 members contribute to vocals, I would suggest a closer look at ga-ch- ar- ic Spin, I'm confident that you will find the screaming your looking for, and massive vocal harmonies.
Amazing band they deserve so much more. So underrated. They should be huge.
