There is nothing like his truth, her truth, your truth or their truth. There is only one truth which is The Truth. The problem is, people talk about the truth of their situation from their own perspective. That doesn't make it that person's truth. It is their perspective of the truth. They don't own the truth
Perception is key. I've had similar issues with associates. Joe could perceive it the exact same way. Listening to all sides all I hear is egos getting in the way

And no one closer to em than Royce so for Royce to side with Joe over them CLEARLY something is wrong. Also why didn't crook sign to shady if he was so loyal???
The bottomlime of the situation is Joe never wanted to come back and rap no matter what he said. His podcast took off and he was and is making more money then he ever saw in rap. Why would he leave that to go back to splitting money 4 ways. Joe should have just come all the way clean. Seems he was misleading them , had them thinking he was down and never truly was. Either that or he wanted the whole situation to be on his terms and his terms only. He may have felt a way about Crook taking the lead and initiative to bring deals to the table.
Because he sure sat right up there on that show in that barber shop pushing that narrative and you all were co-signing .. agreeing that they were doing it for a bag now the energy is totally different

That’s why I don’t respect his opinion. He was leading the charge against Joell and Crook then changed his tune. He acts like he knows everything from every clip I see reality is he doesn’t know shit.
XXL was the biggest urban magazine at the time.
Esso did a lot of talking, he should've been there, no getting around it...even if it was to patch things up, or gain clarity
Facts!!!!!!
Being a lyrical curator, this group was major to Detroit cats.
I'm from Detroit too, and I would say they was major to us people that was into BARS & great content.
Big fan of all room MC’s. Been rocking each of them before they formed Slaughterhouse. But I do agree. It shouldn’t take 10 years for a group to make music. If Joe didn’t like the offers then Joe should of out more effort into finding offers they liked. But in music history the most iconic group never last and that is part of the legacy.
Yeah and Royce saying Joe didn't explicitly day he didn't want to do the deal. If you know Joe is aware of the deal and Joe doesn't say anything, it's obviously assumed he's saying no. Plus how does he expect to get more details about the deal or adjust it if he's not willing to speak?
Or go fully independent and stop worrying about a deal
I feel the same way about how Mike Shinoda did Styles of Beyond in Fort Minor
arrogance vs humility
Ortiz look like j.cole if he didn’t stop eating
*Is* *that* *Esso* *Running* *by* *the* *window* @2:45? 😄
Lol dawg this will never end
u not lying hahaha
You don’t think they should able to say their peace after Royce went on here talking crazy? 🤔
Did you you this when Royce was on the show? If not stfu
@@khristianpeel7165 they need to be able there truth
@@khristianpeel7165 Royce was just answering the questions from his perspective just like Crook & Joell are doing..
Joel Ortiz is tight tru this whole interview & he can’t even hide it 💯
I didn’t even realize it was over 10 years since that Slaughterhouse record dropped! I played in this basketball tournament with my stepdad( God bless his soul) and one of my homies and we named the team Slaughterhouse because of these guys. Always been a fan of Joell. Shouts to Cooper pjs. Crooked keep doing your thing man. The people gonna feel you
Tell him, Joell 🤳 😂
Was waiting on this
Let's be real. If the fourth man was anybody else other than Joe, they would still be a group
Yeah Mec....a lil push back is good for the culture because Math caught his wave and he will go full NORE in a minute. I can't watch drink champs.
Royce watching this clip, with that damn straw still in his mouth.
What I love about Math's show is everyone is in their right mind when they speak their truths. That's not to suggest that I don't enjoy the shows with the booze and bud (because that brings out another sort of truth), but this show is one of the few standouts these days. Good work 🙌🏿
And, Joe...👀 Do better, brother. I'm surprised at Royce.
There is nothing like his truth, her truth, your truth or their truth. There is only one truth which is The Truth. The problem is, people talk about the truth of their situation from their own perspective. That doesn't make it that person's truth. It is their perspective of the truth. They don't own the truth
I been a Joell fan since he opened up in 06 for Banks at BB Kings it was lit that night
Royce never said they was broke he just ran with the hypothetical that Esso put out to answer the questions.👀
That Allegory Thank you text was a Haymaker...definitely a dope album too
Brooklyn Hanz in the cut 💪🏾
Perception is key. I've had similar issues with associates. Joe could perceive it the exact same way. Listening to all sides all I hear is egos getting in the way
Harbor City (S-1) is gonna be a Phucc'n Classic!
“How can you make the most money in your life splitting it 4 ways?”
The problem with Joe is his ego. Joe felt he was on Eminem's level when he was not... That's why he couldn't be on Shady....
Griselda doing what Crook wanted slaughterhouse to do
Stop letting cohost speak on Artist then duck once the Artist pulls up
Part 1 for a clip is crazy😂😂
Do a tag team match album 🤷🏿♂️🤣
Lol
I'd prefer just Joel and Crooked by themselves anyway
1:50 I thought that was surf in the background I was bouta say tf he doin here lol I like this energy comin from both Ortiz and Crooked☀️🙏🏿👑👑
Why does no one address joe saying he doesnt abide by contracts to counter his i didnt get the contract details argument
Lmao I remember a video of joe just staring into his camera in the studio while everyone else was in the background talking.
Not gonna lie math be asking some weird ass questions sometimes
Facts
All the time
😂asking the irrelevant questions jus to feel relevant for 4 seconds
Why it always sound like it’s raining in the background
Oh shit..here we go
Good Joell impression from Math in the beginning! 😂😂
I still think the Shady 2.0 cypher, Joe made it clear that he was done with Slaughterhouse and Shady. Just take a listen.
You mean the ShadyXV cypher
@@OliverOwen1122 yup
Damn! Crooked had a vision though
I don’t like picking sides but i got JOELL AND CROOKED on this one, joe is a handful and Royce is loyal to Joe so that’s the downside.. would’ve been fine with slaughterhouse dropping without joe
They even tried to without Joe but Royce wasn't going if Joe wasn't
And no one closer to em than Royce so for Royce to side with Joe over them CLEARLY something is wrong. Also why didn't crook sign to shady if he was so loyal???
Same here
I believe them
I don’t believe Royce or Budden
& I think it’s mainly Budden that’s the problem
Man this was needed
The bottomlime of the situation is Joe never wanted to come back and rap no matter what he said. His podcast took off and he was and is making more money then he ever saw in rap. Why would he leave that to go back to splitting money 4 ways. Joe should have just come all the way clean. Seems he was misleading them , had them thinking he was down and never truly was. Either that or he wanted the whole situation to be on his terms and his terms only. He may have felt a way about Crook taking the lead and initiative to bring deals to the table.
this hurts my heart to hear...I love Slaughterhouse. I gave up so long ago that I didn't see this interview smh
I believe this 2guys wholeheartedly rather than Joe&Royce.Joe the type of guy who think he is smarter than every1.
"i tried to patch things up but i stopped because it started to look like i needed Slaughterhouse" that's a very enlightening comment
Because he sure sat right up there on that show in that barber shop pushing that narrative and you all were co-signing .. agreeing that they were doing it for a bag now the energy is totally different
XXL was the biggest hip hop mag during that era. Facts
Ppl just suck nowadays no loyalty no respect
Bigger than tearing anybody down 💯💯
Anybody that doesn't want to place ANY blame on Joe... please... look at his track record when it comes to business deals and even personal relationships.
Jay... Def Jam... Amalgam Digital... Ransom... Shady... The JBP... these are just off the top of my head. How many relationships does a dude need to fuck up before you start to notice a pattern?
I fuck with Joe. I still bump Mood Muzik 1 - 4 til this day. I been a fan since the Clue tapes. But if we talkin about Joe AS A PERSON.... come on now.
It's Joe the fact that Royce was going between showed that he was still trying ot put things together Joe wasn't following through. But now the house is gone..so let's see who going to do the numbers
Okay now we getting to the meat of the matter ,people wanna know these things because if y’all don’t speak up they’ll run with Joe and Royce narrative
I totally agree with King crook that middle man s*** is not the move it's totally disrespectful.
