Good point. The Modi govt never interfered with anti BJP movies. Remember the movie Shikara where there's a child leader called Nadru who chants: Mandir wahi banayenge? Yeah we all what they wanted to show. And the movie was a flop.
The Kashmir Files on the other hand was never meant for elections. It was released in 2022.
Savarkar in my opinion is an artistic movie. Based on Vikram Sampath's book, it enlightened us how much of a hero he was to the Hindu society.

Banerjee gave the example for RDB but forgot the mention that the character of defence minster in the movie was directly based on George Fernandes of NDA. That was exactly the reason the Congress allowed it to release. Had it been based on Bofors scandle then they would have banned it as well.

It's universal for all and is bound to none, so for example if BJP has an ideology that it stands by, it's more than welcomed to do so, the constitution empowers it to put forward till it strips away another's rights. In higher education like graduation from university of delhi is much more easier and have more market value than of other state universities. So few centres of education are formed. Which are called islands of education.

i was born in 1990s. whatever film i saw, before and after 2014, there is one difference. Before 2014, it was film. They may say thing against right wing politics, but it never became political tool and part of political champaign. It was never seen as anything other than film and even if some controversy araise, it never reach till election.
