This was super fun! Thanks for sharing the video. I used a liner from a cereal box instead of acetate (I didn't have any). It worked great! I love to repurpose items from around the house when I can.
Consie- your washi tape looks great. I love the idea of adding gesso to the tape before painting. I made my own washi tape with masking tape and used parchment paper to put it on for painting and storage- it worked well. Thank you for your video!
These are so great, can't wait to make some. It really is amazing how they go from looking like an incomprehensible mess to discreet colors and patterns once separated. Wow, thank you, subscribed!
I just found your channel when scrolling on UA-cam… and I’m so glad I did! This is so fun! Your washi is beautiful and I can’t wait to play along! I subscribed to your channel and will be checking out what other creative ideas you have to inspire me!
Thanks, Sally! Yes, a different brand might work better. I also don't know how old my tape is. That might have something to do with the breaking. Also, just going slower when I pull it off might help! LOL!

Thanks for sharing what you used! It helps in case others don't have any acetate on hand.💕

Love this idea! But have made a mental note to use a different brand of tape as the Scotch seems to break rather unpredictably…

What about using freezer paper
I think it would definitely be an option! I would try a small piece first.
