These always had coil pack issues. My mum had a MK4 new in 2003. We had VW out to the car 2-3 times for a misfire. And they said they’d have to source a replacement car if it did it again. It never did.. until about 10 years later when another coil went. Hers was the 1.4 16V engine code BCA.
Yeah they're an easy fix but a pain in the backside.
To be fair 3 of the coils on this one look like originals so they ain't done too bad.

It's the charcoal evap system, normal on this era if very annoying.
@@meatmanifestocheers i hear it too on my car i thought it was the timing belt
@user-fb1ky9pu3y yeah it's annoying but stops them petrol fumes going into the atmosphere
@@meatmanifesto Mine does it more or less all the time, if fact when cold it dosn't do it only when warmed up a tad, is this normal?
