The beautiful finish stonework is reminiscent of that in the Empire State Building. It’s exciting to see the high degree of aesthetic attention invested in infrastructure a century ago. There must have been strong institutional pride in these structures.

I've spent 42 years working on hydroelectric plants very similar, some even older.
Why is this hydroelectric plant not working anymore ? Hugs from Brazil .
