I did this 4 months ago. It was a great experience. I walked over the bridge from the NY side into Canada, went into the duty free shop then walked right back over to NY. The next day we drove over the bridge and spent the night in Canada.

I have been there maybe three times to Niagara Falls Canada but not on American side .I think its more beautiful from American side and that state park its very nice also I have never known you could walk from one side to the other. that is amazing. thank you for the video.

Whether you just walk on the bridge and coming back, or actually crossing the border on the other side - you will need to show your passport or immigration documents.
