Saints secondary was suspect, their whole game is not to get beat deep. They had to keep the Safeties close to the line because Dalvin Cook tore off some great runs in the first half. The Vikings went for the deep shots when the Saints safeties were in close.

I wish to see a day where the browns, lions, cardinals, and especially Falcons all win a super bowl. In only 54 years of its existence, the majority of the teams have already won the super bowl. Double that and eventually every team will have won it. Even if I'm dead by the time we win it, I wouldn't care, because I would already know the victory would be inevitable. Saying that a franchise is dead is simply false unless they are run by an utterly incompetent and corrupt businessman, which Arthur Blank isn't.

Watch the replay of that game. You can count at least 4 times where Saint players lifted Favre off the ground and drove him into the ground which at that time was illegal. I think you guys are missing a crucial factor of why the Vikings won this game. Kirk Cousins completely outplayed Drew Brees. 9 looked like hot garbage that day
And, on top of that, Cousins was able to not get flustered by Stefon Diggs acting up. We hear at 6:52 an allusion to this with Aikman saying, "....having to worry about a frustrated wide receiver in a game you're leading on the road." Aikman's disdain for the behavior of Diggs is abundant. Diggs would not for long be a Minnesota Viking.
