Hello Eli. I must have watched dozens of Dolby Atmos videos for Logic Pro. And... I'm stumped. First try I could not get any audio to come out. Then I got audio but only in my left ear headphone. And it wouldn't pan. I'm using an iMac Pro (Late 2015) with Monterey 12.6.3 and Logic Pro 10.7.7.At 3:08 in your video, my "Binaural" setting is grayed out. I only get Apple Renderer or Dolby Renderer. Any ideas on a solution? Many of the videos I've watched don't show the same screen choices on my machine. But your video, as short as it is was much more helpful. Hope to hear from you. Gianni♥
Hey Eli, Just curious do you think studio one is a DAW worth learning if I already know Logic, Ableton, FL studio, & Pro Tools?
It’s really a personal choice. Unless it’s for compatibility with collaborators, or for teaching/pedagogy, my gut feeling is to wonder why you want or need to use that many multiple DAWs?

I can only hear the left speaker in binaural mode. I cannot hear anything in the right speaker. Can you please help me with it?
You fail to mention if you are listening through speakers or headphones. Take a look at your surround IO settings in the audio preferences for the speaker/output assignments. For headphones, it is likely hardware related (cables, jacks, etc) and nothing to do with Logic.
Hi Eli, I noticed in the intro of your studio view, you are using a Mackie Control. I assume you are using it connected to your computer through a Midi interface as they didn't have USB versions until the much later design? I have an identical Mackie Control to yours, which has been sitting in storage for many years, and had thought I may at some point fish it out and utilise it again. Unfortunately, I remember it had fader reset issues, and Mackie wont service it now.......
Yeah, many of my faders are wonky at this point as well. I rarely use it anymore. It is useful though for transport control, zooming, and for the jog wheel.
Does anyone else get latency issues between MIDI channels? I have followed all settings recommended in this video and even tested the difference between the rendering options, low latency mode, changing clock settings and buffer size in preferences and still there remains a clear latency issue between channels. I am running logic 10.7.3 on a M1 Mac mini on macOS Monterey and have tried opening the software with and without Rosetta. The CPU is super low so definitely not an issue. If anyone knows how to solve this issue it would be greatly appreciated, thanks

use project alternatives. Make a copy of your project and then add spatial editing
So, when is better to pick a bed track over an object one? It feels like bed tracks are now outdated, or am I missing something?
That is the million-dollar question:-) It's still the wild west with all of this; the rules haven't been made yet! :-)
@@elikrantzberg Object - use on main instruments - Kick, Bass, Lead. Use Bed on FX, fills etc.
As soon I select Dolby Atmos in the audio option my Logic crashes immediately. It's very strange because I can play the demo Dolby Atmos project.
The only thing I can suggest is to make sure you've raised the audio buffer to either 512 or 1024. This is currently a requirement of working with Dolby Atmos in Logic Pro.
@@elikrantzberg unfortunately Logic crashes also with these settings. I’ve found also another issue: randomly Logic records wrong notes in live loops. My midi keyboards works perfectly but I find sometimes recorded notes I’ve not pressed during live loops recording.
