    Great video mate. I am planning to give this one a brew on the weekend, it sounds delicious !!!
    Hey thanks for sharing your settings for the maltzilla in the video, it would be cool if you could do a quick video on mill, that would be helpful, I am still trying to dial mine in and there are not many vids online. Cheers mate.

    Sounds like my favorite beer!
    Have you done a side by side w the real thing? Do you think you get as many IBUs from the WP as they do?
    Dry hop temp and duration? Leave it for the two weeks at the bottom while you lager and then transfer to keg?

    As it’s one of your favourites I would love to try this myself, but as I live in thailand not all hops are available in particular the FALCONERS FLIGHT, is there a way to adapt using another hop or more of the Mosaic etc
    Any suggestions for a replacement?

      @HomeBrewNetwork  Місяць тому

      Falconers flight is a blend of c hops mainly so something like a citra, cascade, centennial, chinook etc Cheers!

      @HomeBrewNetwork  2 місяці тому +1

      Years, I'm not sure how many but 5 or 6 years, yeah I'll use it in most beers, only time I dont is when I forget usually lol Cheers! There's named ones like polyclar brewbrite. Normally I just buy a bag. bit.ly/PVPPpolyclar

      Yeah I just didnt want to drink two beers midweek when it was filmed. Its the same beer. I didnt seem to have any troubles with this recipe and the whirlpool, I can't say on your system. I remove yeast before dry hop whenever possible even if dry hopping before end of ferment. I dry hop at ferment temp, stops hop creep being a problem down the track, if you are the kind of person that likes dropping temp for dry hop, its never worked for me, I'd only drop it 2 degrees or something just to try and drop any suspended yeast. I'm not a dry hop for 2 days kind of person, because its fraught with failure, you dry hop and then when you think its ready you move to the next step. About 4 days is the usual time for my success, sometimes a touch longer. Then once crashed for a few days you can either leave it on the hops or keg it, its not going to matter much, I usually keg just to clear out my fermenter fridge for something else. Cheers!
