- This is a video of a 12-volt wall mount air conditioner that is available on eBay approximately $700 7000 BTU's of cooling power. Requires 110 volt to 12 volt transformer minimum 50 amp. Uses R134A refrigerant 600 + -20. The AC compressor outside is inverter driven and speed control from the indoor unit.

That was a very detailed report-good job.
Very nice and forsure a cheaper route than a APU nice job however if the ac unit can't cool the cab down to at least 65 degrees in a 125 degree day it wouldn't be worth it to me.
Very much nice split screen unit.
Good video. 7000 to 12000 btu is more than enough for a semi. After I run my mini split for about 7 minutes its cold in my truck. I recently saw a video about solar powered 12 volt mini-split units. I'll be getting one in the future.
Can do review video please. I really wanted to see if its still running strong. Thanks
Great review! Still happy with it? Curious if you could record another one at a lower setting on the compressor?
Nice!
Are you still happy with this install. I plan on doing a similar install
We also want like this unit.
The link provided goes to a different system... not sure is ia the same ?
You need 1000ah deep cycle battery bank. With a stock alternator it will take 8+ hrs of driving to charge them. 1000ah will be enough to cool the sleeper 10-12hrs depends on temperature.
Hey went on link.ypu posted nothing there would you happen to have any contact info for seller don't wanna use aliexpress looking a pioneer unit but does look sturdy enough
Curious about the compressor speed control. If I can get one separate
This video is listed at 2yrs old.
Where is the link.?
I have installed a few of these units and wire directly to truck batteries. Then installed honda.generator 2200 and connect a 40 amp battery charger to the generator and wire into the batteries....... Good for few hrs ... any thoughts. Not the best route if u want more hr run time
I just finished installing a similar unit in my RV but when I went to charge it with refrigerant I realized they have some kind of weird Chinese style fittings on it. My gauges and adapters don’t fit. Where did you find the fitting adapters to fit this for charging?
Very nice video, I have a3500 watt predator inventor generator from harbor freight & I have aluminum box which fits the generator, so my question is,do you think the generator will get too hot with open door?
But when truck is running and driving it can run off of regular battery correct?
Do you link. Tge one I find on ebay is 1000$
