I agree with your video as a good core message to establish the standard metrics and performance of a warehouse. I think that the enforcement of safety procedures is also of great concern in warehousing, as well as employee Behavior as these can both be very disruptive elements in a warehouse productivity management system. Manager needs to be both and fair, it needs to be able to correct situations as they arise. Being proactive, and reacting properly to issues prevents small mistakes from becoming large mistakes. Large mistakes can crush your business, so make sure your manager knows how to prevent them!

I agree that monetary incentive is benificial to employees but also there other factors needed like giving a nap break so that they can recharge energy to do there work, provide better equipment or tools(pms), avoid overstocking that causes blockage to aisles, enough warehouse space, and manager or supervisor don't do make it habit of saying about negative feedback all the time and giving more workload with unrealistic deadline specially if you have a handful of people to do the operation. I say this because i am a experienced warehouse personnel in the philippines. We understand that the employers need to make a profit but A lot of terrible employers who don't want to willing to invest. Warehouse work is very tough and some employers are inconsiderate. Minimum wage, nobreaks, restday work, no pms equipment, overstock, nosafety gear, longer hours... Big red flag why people dont stay for too long
