Rob, thanks for the inspiration. I'm just getting into helping my wife in her quilting. I'm learning to cut, piece & sew at the moment and hope to actually make my first quilt soon. I'm happy to see that there are other men out there doing this, so I don't have to tear up my "man card". Keep up the good work. Cheers!
I love this for a patriotic quilt! We make quilts for Veterans and they're distributed to local Veterans so we don't have to stick by certain rules. And I think this is going to be so much fun to add to a gift for Veterans.
Halloween is the favorite holiday in our home. Also, Dia de muertos is a quilt I have always wanted to make! Your ideas are so original & would like to see what you would make for the day of the dead.
Really enjoyed your presentation at the Ladybug Quilt Guild in Newark, DE. You are very inspiring and your energy is contagious ! Thanks for being with us for your first empty house day of the school year 🤗
This is perfect for The Fourth of July, Flag day, New Year’s Eve, and family birthdays. I love the colors and the happy feel. I could make it for a summer banner. It looks like it would be fun to make with children. Love it, love it, love it!
My favorite holiday is the 4th of July because it's usually warm and I'm always smoking the baby back ribs. My husband gets a break from the grill that day! This Patriotic quilt is perfect!
I love all things Patriotic!! What a whimsical quilt for Patriotic holidays and all year round. I love making Patriotic themed items! My favorite is Halloween - cats cats cats!!
Hi Rob! Love the wonky star quilt! I love red white and blue quilts! Working on a red/white/blue paper pieced hexagon quilt. But my favorite is Halloween. Love Halloween fabrics and have a ton of it! Lol looking forward to Fall here in Cincinnati. Hopefully will cool off here soon!! Love your videos. keep it going!!!
Halloween is my favorite holiday (my birthday is a few days before it. ) would love to make a haunted house wall hanging or a big spider in a web. Love your videos. Keep up the great work. 😁
Hi, Rob! I'd like to first say that I love your tutorials, and thanks to you, my hubby is starting to get curious about learning the sewing machine and how to quilt! My favorite holiday is Independence Day, because of the fireworks and picnics and summer fun that we have as a family. As you've covered the fireworks part, maybe you could do a tutorial to help me develop the idea of a wonky I-spy picnic quilt? I'm thinking of using pieced denim from the kids' worn out jeans for the back. Whaddya think?
don't know about Rob's design wall, but MY design wall is a 2 yard cut of fleece that I stapled the top and bottom to 8 foot long 1" by 2" boards. And the top board is hung on the wall, the bottom board keeps the fleece hanging straight. I leave mine up all the time, but if needed, I could roll it up and stor it in a corner or a closet. This wall can be made using any size boards with the correct size fleece.

I love autumn and I love the leaves falling full of orange, red, brown, yellow, and green! It'll make one beautiful quilt!
Also, why not do willow trees in seasons, like fall, winter, spring, and summer.. it'd be so beautiful?!
