THANK YOU JENNY AND RON. This is just what I needed... a EZ Fast pattern for a grand child's quilt. With Purple fabric, and SCRAPs from 3 other Jelly roll quilts, this pattern is Perfect. Thanks again, YOUR THE BEST!!..
Love black with bright popping colors!! Love this quilt!! Jenny, thank you for showing us how easy this one is to make!!! You're the BEST!! Thank YOU to ALL!!
Jenny you've taught me how to quilt and it's been my physical therapy after strokes... Having been a teacher, I was lost missing the middle schoolers and being at home all the time.. I must tell you how very important you are to so many of us and please know how loved and appreciated you are!
You’re the best...I am so going to make this in red, white and blue...you’re so cute when you say you’re sorry when you mis speak...thanks Jenny for sharing your talent with us.
This is a great quilt that anyone could do. Wonderful. You could just pick out someone’s favorite color as the background fabric and go from there. Thanks for sharing another great idea!
Hi and thanks for another great tutorial. I love the contrast between the black and bright colors and the solid color backing . What a cool choice of colors all together. Jane, it’s always a joy to start the day watching you share your knowledge with us. I want to add that I have read your book and I I was impressed by how you deal with life. 🌺🌸
Love, love, LOVE this quilt! Like quilts with black backgrounds and I already have a roll of "brights" that I wasn't sure what to do with. Whipping this beauty up this weekend!!
I watched this tutorial about an hour after it was released and ordered the fabric to make it. Can’t wait to get started!!! Thank you Jenny and MSQC for wonderful tutorials and products ❤️
I have been binging on your videos! I'm trying to step away from kits and get my own fabric to follow a pattern I like. I love that you always list what we need and have it written so we can screenshot. Thank you!
Thank you so much... This is a great quilt for all of my odd length pieces of batiks and Bali pops. I made Ron's quilt a couple of years ago ... This will be a great addition. Again thank you for your great tutorials and commitment to your community.
Love the way you always make things so simple and easy. Think I will do it in black and white. We appreciate you and your crew sharing your time and talents with us. God bless and take care.
What a great quilt to give for someone going off to college. You could even do school colors. You could make it masculine or feminine just by changing up the colors. Thank you Jenny
Ohhhhh...love this...i cannot wait to make this quilt. Of course I will be using 2.5 inch squares and my scraps...oh boy what a scrap buster this will ne for my sewing wall...Thanks for another great quilt tutorial....
Just bought the black squares from Missouri Star Quilts. I have some fairy frost fat quarters that I'm going to cut into 2 1/2 inch strips. Hoping the sparkle will add an extra stary look! I love your tutorials. Thank you for making quilting fun and not so darn serious!
Oh my gosh - this is fantastic! My granddaughter wants a quilt with rainbow colors in it - I just ordered a very pretty jelly roll from you 2 days ago - this is going to be GREAT!!!
Great minds think the alike. I taught the same technique last spring, but I use a floral 10 inch square and solids for the star tips. Sew fun and sew pretty.
When I saw this I immediately wanted to do floral with solid starts. But I wasn’t sure how it would work as the background bc all the floral 10” squares aren’t the same pattern. Does the floral have to all be the same or does the different patterns still looks good? Thanks!
I love this quilt Jenny! I am new to quilting. Honestly, I Never thought I would make a quilt when considering the time and detail that to goes into them.. daunting. Since I found your videos, you have encouraged me to give it a try! Thank you for sharing your talents, skills and tips ☺️💖💜❤️💗💕👍 Take care and God Bless, Chris-Raleigh NC
Chris Littebrant her videos are great. Im new to quilting and have made 2 king sizes quilts for my kids using her tutorials and 3 or 4 baby blankets. Have fun.
@@_Linda_K and Marta Garcia, I hope your quilting and English go very well. I like Jenny's tutorials too. She speaks fairly slowly and without much of an accent. I am glad you are enjoying these.
This is so cute and simple. Thank you Jenny and Family. I just took my daughters orange peel quilt to my local quilter yesterday and it ended up being huge in size 120x106. At least I shouldnt hear that her husband is stealing it all.
Hi Terry, Thank you for your sweet note. Jenny has so many easy quilt patterns, I’ve had a difficult time deciding which one to do first. After watching this video, well, this is the one! I ordered a bunch of goodies from her shop, items are so nice. ☺️ Happy quilting and God Bless, Chris-Raleigh NC
Oh my gosh!!! I love it!!! I love your freestyle quilts! I have made several of your quilts including the Pecking Order as a wedding gift, and Rising Star as a bday gift. I am currently looking for a pattern for a baby quilt that will highlight a classic cartoon fabric. I think this just might be it!!! Using the classic cartoon fabric as my 10in sqrs and bright coordinating fabric for my stars..... Jenny you got my wheels spinning again!!!! Thank you! Thank you!!
I am currently making a bunk bed quilt using Super Hero (Justice League) fabrics with a pattern called All Squared Up by Camelot. The pattern is actually smaller than bunk size, more like a baby size, but I just made it bigger. I think this would be great for your cartoon fabrics. I have also made a baby quilt called Stepping Stones that is perfect for cartoons. I'm going to make Jenny's "All Stars" quilt for the 2nd bunk bed to go along with the All Squared Up. Hope this helps.
That is going to look so neat! We would love to see your Pecking Order quilt as well and any new ones you create. Feel free to share your creations with us on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter!
Jenny this will be the perfect quilt that I am making from my brothers clothes. Who died last November. Thank you so much for this quilt pattern I love it. Maria
just found you..i'm amazed and in awe! gotta try a few of these. I usually do appliques cause piecing doesn't usually work put well for me. gonna run to fabric store tomorrow and go to atic and find scraps to match.. can't wait.
I will try this because it is a beautiful quilt. I tried making the one your husband designed but was unhappy with the points because they did not match up. This one looks easier. Thanks for your tutorials - love them.
Oh my goodness that is a gorgeous quilt....❤💙❤💙❤💙 love a black quilt with a pop of colour and a simple block too...so striking...so me...l must make...looks like l will be doing some shopping this weekend ....beautiful work as always Jenny😊❤
I love your tutorials and this quilt is amazing. I'm totally new to making quilts. I think this would be something I could handle! Love the black background💕💕💕💕
Doing this one for a Christmas present for sure, I love the design! Just debating if I want the stars one solid color or multi-colored brites. Can't wait!
To avoid having multiple layers of fabric at the centers of each of these stars, cutting off the black from behind the added color will help. If the black fabric isn’t cut from under the colors, you will end up with eight pieces of fabric in those seams.
Thank you Carolyn. I was getting ready to ask about that on here when I saw your post. I'm planning to make this for my father for a birthday present and .y machine really hates more than 4 layers.

I love the colors of the quilt with the black background. The fact that you don't have to measure anything is a great bonus. Nice size too.

did you use darks for the strips?

Yes! I’m using a cute layer cake collection for a little girl and solid fabric for the stars.
