I think you’re being too harsh on this product, especially considering its price point. This is an Ulanzi light, not an Arri or Broncolor. For beginners, it’s a fantastic option. If you know what you’re doing, it can produce excellent results. I’ve successfully used it for documentaries and short films. 🎥

Of course, I am harsh because it didn’t meet the expectations I had due to their marketing. As I said, you will use this as an extra light in the studio, but you wouldn’t trust it for the type of productions (I have bought cheaper lights on Amazon that have been of better quality). But that’s my opinion, and you have a different experience, so I will pin your post for other people to read your experience.

I have the 40 watt light from Ulanzi, I traveled with it and did interviews. It is really ok for the price. The 60 watt is bulkier and has no battery built in.

As Long as it does what it does 😂
I wouldn’t travel and do any interviews with mine.. I can’t really trust it to 100%. I works at my studio but that is far as I take it 😂

This review is garbage. What did you expect for 100$? The light looks exactly as I’d expect for the money and brighter than I’d expect for the money. All the things you’re complaining about are on higher end lights yes, but I see nothing wrong with the product as a budget option.

You paid for a newbie’s light. You got what you paid for. Lol.
If this was a $300 light with these issues THAT would be an problem. But for newbies just starting out. Its just fine to get started with. And in a few months if you find that you’re still making videos and ready to upgrade then it’s well worth it to go for a more professional lighting set up at that point.
I feel click-baited. Like there was some inherent flaw that makes this completely unusable and worthless. Turns out you just expected the quality of a $300 light from what is now only $70 if you don’t want the cheap light stand.

@@FilipLjungberg I did, all 6 mins of it. Your whole video was simply to crap on a budget friendly “newbie focused” product, EXCEPT at the very end where you essentially say “but if you make crapy/boring content. This will work for you. US professionals tho would never use this garbage.“
HELLO?, freaking duh! THATS BC ITS NOT MEANT FOR YOU! its meant for NEWBIES and THEIR needs.
Applying the rules and expectations for a high end professional item to a beginner’s item is wildly out of touch.
You gave this product a total of 0 pros other than price point, and you quite literally complained about EVERY other possible aspect of the device. You’re a pro right? What does it not having a ball head matter. Sand bags to counter weight a leaning tripod works just as well. You as a pro could’ve mentioned that. You didn’t. You just wanted the negative point out there.
BUT i can tell you don’t respect your audience at all, simply by your troll 😂 emoji usage to attempt to belittle, deny, disregard, and discredit my valid opinion instead of taking constructive criticism and applying it to elevate your content to a higher level.
It’s ok to say you had unrealistic expectations for the price you paid, say EXACTLY THAT at the beginning, we as the audience easily see that as we watch the video. Now if only you could be genuine, honest, and conduct yourself like a professional. Especially when interacting with your audience. After all i engaged. But will never do so again. You have no decorum as a “professional”.
Well what an actual professional would have said to my comment was: “Im sorry you felt that way. I’ll take a look at your advice and try to apply what you said in future content”. Then silently at home to yourself you could have said to yourself “F that dude” and just did what you want to do anyways.
Amateur move my guy. Now im the one 😂😂😂😂’ing at YOU.
Being thin skinned just ain’t gonna work out for you in this cut throat review game my guy. And if every criticism is gonna get this reaction from you. I fear for your mental health stability if/when you actually start getting traction and wont just be 1 person in a video from a month ago. Not at all, if you somehow blow up like you obviously want to than eventually like every other large reviewer/opinion giver you gonna have 1,000 of us calling out the fluff, bs, bad faith opinions in every video.. So get used to it my guy. Or even easier just stay out of the comments section. Bc quite simply you post stuff publicly on the internet. Don’t try to gaslight people that are attempting to give valid criticism and HELP. And don’t try to control people’s opinions about your content. Thats a fools errand. Bless your heart. May you find peace.

Hi friend, What is your opinion compared with ZHIYUN Molus G60, can you give me your opinion between both lights, what is it better and why?

    • @FilipLjungberg
      @FilipLjungberg  Місяць тому

Haven’t got the Molus G60 yet but I am
      Going to buy it.
It’s smaller, more robust, better power, more variety, there is an app and so on.
Will do a full review as soon as I get it.
Ulanzi works fine if you just going to have it as an extra light at your content studio.
But having it with you on a job.. naa… wouldn’t do that.
