- When Shane Gabriel felt numbness in his left side, an MRI revealed a benign brain tumour in his cerebellum. Following surgery, he began his rehabilitation journey at the Acquired Brain Injury unit at Toronto Rehab. This is Shane's story of recovery.
I, too, am a brain tumor survivor. Yes, it was a really hard path, but without going through that, I wouldn't be the same person as I am now. I am both grateful and... well, you get the point...
that shit was HARD man... I remember being bedridden then being spoonfed for like 2 months or something... I remember having NGT.. that thing was in my nose for a month.. that was really unpleasant yow... I'm so glad those days are over
Hi Brix ,what type of tumor was,.is operated ,follwed by radiation therapy.is totally removed.
I don't think I ever had radiation therapy...... O.O
all I know is astrocytoma tumor was removed.. or whatever it's called
thank you for saying my name.. that sounded good, Jamil xD
@@brixfarezzio9984 hi where did you had your surgery and how much did it cost ? (are you a filipino?)
@@FranchettAtienza my surgery? Zamboanga City and yes I'm a Filipino.. I just sorta "ran away" here to Saudi Arabia, is all XD
want more details? see, the surgery happened on May 2012 (I think).. it was a very hard time for me.. lots of downs and almost no ups.. unbelievably hard.. I'm happy that I'm here now 😊 it's almost as if I've been "kissed" by Angels xD... despite the fact that I've been operated, I'm tenfolds stronger than ever before xD.. more or less.. idk 😅
@@FranchettAtienza unfortunately, I've no idea how much it cost... I didn't ask
I feel you guys. I had a astrocytoma removed from my left temporal lobe in 2015, and I’m doing much better since, but I’m having lasting effects still from the surgery. Prayers for all of you. Your not alone
Hi Kimberly, what are the lasting affects your still feel? I’m curious as a family member has been diagnosed with the exact same thing. I was hoping if I’d be able to get in touch to learn a bit more about your experience if you wouldn’t mind to help us all get a better understanding. Thanks
Hi I had a grad 3 sdtrocystomw removed malignant too been 3 months post surgery feeling. Brttt worst part are etremors but hopefully will get better
Did they remove his tumor?
Praise God/Jesus!!! Looking great! Praying complete divine healing for you Inness Mighty name.
I'm in week three of recovery after a resection to remove a grade 3 glioma. Gross total resection thankfully but the recovery process is the hardest. Stay the course and think of the recovery process as an investment in your future self.
How are you now?
@@bulletprooftrading I am on a short break between my radiation treatment and starting chemotherapy.
