Never Expected the Lamborghini Huracan STO to be THIS LOUD! | SHMUSEUM VLOG 9

The brand new Lamborghini Huracan STO is here at ‪@TheShmuseum‬! After ‪@Shmee150‬'s test drive in the new track Lambo, let's check out quite how loud it is with a decibel meter sound check before saying farewell and returning it back to Lamborghini.
The Huracan STO features a 640hp 5.2l NA V10, and sure does sound the part with a surprisingly loud exhaust note direct from factory. So much so, we had to find out what numbers we would see on a decibel meter. After taking Brad for a quick run to experience the STO, it's back to the garage to give it a few blips and see what happens it would read.
From idle, the numbers come in around 92dB in Trofeo mode, and with a red line blip that quickly shoots up to 124.4dB - not bad, but not very track friendly! Nonetheless, after the fun, we're on the road with the AMG G63 to take it back to Lamborghini London's service centre where we just so happen to pass another STO on the road at the same time.
Stay tuned though, this is the start of quite an adventure. Next up we're off to Zach's Garage to collect Louis... except it's not going to go as planned.

Remember Tim, for the first time on a huracan, on the STO, every mode has the valves ALWAYS CLOSED in idle/N mode. It opens only by accelerating and in "TROFEO" mode they open at lower revs than in the "STO" and "PIOGGIA" modes. On mine I asked to deliver it to me with the tubes of the valves disconnected so that the valves are always open also in N and, having heard it in person in sant'agata, believe me that the sound changes completely; much, much Louder. In fact, the Evo/perfomante is louder than the STO in idle (in sport/corsa mode) because, as i said, the STO has the valves always closed if you don't push on the gas, while on the EVO / Performante, the valves opens in sport and corsa immediatly.
