Making hay is a lot of hot sweaty work when I was a young teenager although I did get my 1st taste of driving a tractor and a pickup in the field at that age! had to wait another 3 years to get my license at sixteen and now at age 66 I've been driving for 50 years! I think every kid should get a chance to work on a farm at some point in their life!
Fascinating to watch. Now I have that song stuck in my head. Which led me to look up who wrote it and sang it. Lanny Wolfe from the Lanny Wolfe Trio apparently wrote it. And everybody sings it. lol Which led me to sit for a while listening to some other old gospel songs. Which led me to forget I was commenting on this post. So here I am, finishing up commenting. What were we talking about? lol Doggone squirrel in my head.
Thanks Troy, meney years ago I bailed hay like that, and before that it was lose hay. My thoughts are, if I am going to set around your table, I would be offended if I didn't serve my time in the field. 🤔🙏🏼👍
Man you've got it too easy! Back in the day making hay as a teenager on a friends farm consisted of a sickle bar on an 8N ford, let it dry in the field for a couple of days, take the farmall cub and pull the rollabar rake, then pull a New Holland baler with a Wisconsin auxillary engine cause the 8N didn't have enough power to run it and then take the cub out with trailer to pick up the hay. On a HOT n HUMID day with no AC! And harvesting corn, oats, and soybeans on other friends farms was no picnic either!
Great farm video and God bless
Greatly appreciate that. God bless you as well.

You have very similar equipment to me. Your tractors are significantly newer though. I am still using 06 Series Deutz's.
That’s great. We still have a 100 06. We love them.
Hope y'all are doing ok! Hope to see y'all tonight!
We are. God bless and see you soon.

Trust me, Frank. I’ve put my time in, and earned a few “easy” days in hay.
