Hey, David. I have a wild hair and would love to get started on making my own hand crafted pencils. I’m a collector of pencils and have enjoyed them most of my life. I always felt if I had the knowledge and the tools, I could make a pencil that I truly want and could share with friends.
My question is, what can I do to get started on this journey? What are the tools I should consider buying and resources to look into (besides your channel, of course) to embark on this exciting side quest in my life?
    Thanks in advance!

I think the walnut one with white "lead" is an ironic play on using a white pencil to mark walnut. Thumbs up! And I never realized how used to seeing two-tone pencils I was. That is, traditional #2 orange on the outside with the pale white surrounding the graphite. The single-tone of these really stands out and they look awesome!
