The day after 'Psychic' Sally Morgan denies that she uses an earpiece on stage, Paul Zenon reveals that footage exists of her wearing and removing one as she comes off stage - linked to from her own website!

Watching Leigh Catherine for the whole video is absolutely hilarious. The steely held eye contact, the body language, the deliberate confusing of salient points made by Zenon early on to trying to muddy the argument and throw the interviewers off the scent, she is literally unbelievable.

I cannot work out which side Leigh Catherine is on, firstly she's adamant that psychics are real and genuine but as soon as Paul Zenon shows how easy it is to fake a reading she's suddenly more on the skeptical side. Well done Paul!!!!!!!
Funny how the psychics will never demonstrate on the spot isn't it? "I'm not a trick pony" and yet they do it for a living. I'm a PC repairman, and if someone asks me to look at their PC I don't have any problem doing it without preparation!
She looked very uncomfortable throughout the whole interveiw.

Paul Zenon is brilliant such a great magician,entertainer. She is yet another psychic who could prove nothing except she could only speak to the dead when booked,ha ha fantastic,says it all really.Go Paul keep fighting the good fight against the fraudulent mediums.

Oh, and since that inteview LC turned down the opportunity to do the JREF challenge (what a surprise), and has also apparently stopped doing personal readings. Maybe another opportunity to appear on TV cropped up...
So she wasn't rude or aggressive?! She even describes herself as a 'fierce fashionista'! Why do you believers always use the 'what are you scared of' line? He's obviously not scared of anything, including legal action - he's speaking out against bullshit - it's believers who are scared, of the idea that there is nothing after death.What science does is accept profoundity while trying to find out what's there which doesn't meet the eye, unlike mysticism which blindly accepts any old bollocks.

They put a caption under Paul saying "Says all psychics are con artists." I doubt he said that. That's a common straw man people force on skeptics, probably from people who don't understand the depths of self delusion.
But they are so good at special pleading it makes them sound like con artists, she said she doesn't do readings in public because she doesn't know what will come out. He should have said I don't care what personal things the spirit said to corner her a bit more.
Why did she agree to go on, she is clearly a fraud. She is a joke, I bet you she preys on the vulnerable and makes money from there grief. Horrendous . All so called psychics should be ashamed of themselves, people will believe more when they are clinging on to hope of contacting a loved one. I feel sorry for people who part with there hard earned money to pay these con artists
30th January 2012 - 'Psychic' Sally is taking legal action against the Daily Mail over Paul Zenon's article written immediately prior to this interview in September 2011.
Please note that if you do believe in an afterlife, and that dead friends and relatives are watching over you, then remember that they are also watching you going to the toilet, undressing and masturbating. Possibly all at the same time.
What beautiful blonde woman was saying was, "... evident of survival after physically passing away. If you were 70 years of age, and I said, Oh, I've got your grandfather in spirit, hello, at 70 years of age, then grand dad has obviously gone to the other side of spirit..." translates to "I dont know wxtxf I'm saying, and wisdom grows with days, therfore a 70 y/o will not believe me, so given that, i can not communicate w/ their passed away relatives, aka, I am pretty, yet super fake."
@benthejrporter Sally Morgan lied about wearing an earpiece on stage - she denied it until Zenon uncovered video footage of her wearing one, then she backtracked, saying that she sometimes wore one 'but only for stage directions'. Only musical performers ever use an earpiece on a theatre stage, there is no reason to wear one otherwise.

Er, you're not aware of the libel case that Sally Morgan took against the Mail over Paul Zenon's article after this programme was broadcast then? It's been going on for a year and due to go to the High Court in June 2013. And before you say that she'll have to prove that she's psychic; she won't, the Claimant doesn't have to demonstrate anything - that's one of the many problems with the UK libel laws.
And no; that isn't conclusive proof that she was fed information on a specific date, but you'd be foolish to assume otherwise; it would be like saying that because someone is wearing a plaster cast on their leg, it doesn't prove that they have an injured leg. No it doesn't, but....And where is any kind of evidence that Sally Morgan has any 'psychic' powers anyway? There is none whatsoever. Surely the onus should be on her to prove her ridiculous and damaging claims?
It is odd. On one hand, one can feel a sense of sadness for those who long for those whom they have loved and who are now deceased. And on the other hand, it is best to let go of the attachment to those who have died and to celebrate the memories of those love ones. Leigh Catherine may not know that she is in fact a moderate charlatan. This moderateness presses those who are mourning to possess a greater credulity to Leigh's charlatanism.
@Houdini2323 Is that so? Well in that case this is somewhat more incriminating. It'll be worth watching to see if the earpiece is still there at her next show. Also taking a scanner into the hall would be a good idea to try and hack the signal.

It can, but sometimes the truth needs stating with directness too, and Zenon has enough TV experience to know that unless you state your case on a live programme then you will be ridden over. @benthejrporter - She has done several dozen shows since September and seems to wear and not wear the earpiece in about equal measure. As I said, there is no reason for her to wear one other than to be fed information, unless she is so bored that she likes to listen to Spotify while she impersonates dead toddlers.

It's nothing to do with thinking that 'anyones' ideas are bullshit or bollocks, it's about discerning which are and which are not, using logic and evidence. Feel free to believe anything you like, but don't claim that you are open minded or that non-believers are closed minded - in my experience it's usually the opposite.

@newcoyote I agree, but let me clarify my main point. Even if a skeptic thinks that psychic powers don't exist, they should never say that all psychics are con artists. They should realize that humans are able to delude themselves into thinking they actually have some psychic powers. I don't think some of the general public realizes how deep self delusion goes, so they often think psychics are either a con artists or real.Thus they think that skeptics think that all psychics are con artists.
Who cares? more than 50% of viewers did and that's good enough. Psychic Sally isn't as god as he is. At least he admits that it's garbage.

No it's not - it's just that you and a whole load of other suckers haven't worked it out. NONE of them have any sort of gift other than being able to part people from their money. The thing is that the people outside passing information secretly to Psychic Sally only comes from a rumour. If it was the other way round and Skeptics were in the defensive position they'd say that this is "anecdotal". So there's a bit of a double standard here! If Sally had been actually caught red-handed like James Randi did to Peter Popoff then it would be a different matter. But she wasn't.

I'm more of a believer but always keep a healthy amount of skepticism. An open mind. But he's so rude/controlling and passive aggressive to Leigh Catherine. What's he so scared about and why does he want to take mediumship down? His book? hmm. What ever is real, we're here and there's a lot more to this existence that meets the eye. It's profound that we're here to start with so why is the idea of an afterlife so to speak be any more amazing!

What do you mean you've tried to? I don't think you actually have, have you? It's not called 'james test' and it's open to anyone at all. Maybe you tried to search on the Internet but your grammar and (lack of) punctuation let you down? This interview probably said nothing new about what you do because what you do (or rather say you do) is actually bullshit, and that's been around for a long time, with people saying as much.
