King Charles will not abdicate. Traditionally if the monarch is too old or infirm to rule, a regency is formed (like George IV during George III's long reign). Prince William, as first in line to throne, would become Prince Regent if this happens, carrying out the duties of the monarch. More likely as with the late Queen there will be an informal regency. If King Charles is too old to discharge his duties, Prince William will fill in for him without an official regency by name as Prince Charles did towards the end of the late Queen's life.
Charles has said he's taken the same oath as his mother. Their whole life, they will serve. She did serve right to the very end.
Unless you're wrong and Charles up and decides one fine day he'd love to see William coronated. Entirely possible.

I don’t agree 100%, we had a reading recently, never heard of the medium before and he did not know us. He told us of a career promotion that would happen for our daughter. It was late the evening before, so we did not have time to tell her. She very excitedly called us the following day to tell us she had been called in to the office and had been offered promotion. Everything he said would happen happened. It’s the first time we had ever spoken with him, we gave no information whatsoever, we never even mentioned we had a daughter.

I remember seeing Sally Morgan in my local theatre and to be quite honest my husband and I were underwhelmed and she was not convincing. We also saw Colin Fry and Derek Accora in theatres over the years and they were compelling may they RIP. However, recently we were recommended a medium named Adam Leonard who we had never heard of before and we were blown away with his accuracy, he was 100% spot on, he took our breath away. It’s the first time we ever had a one on one reading and he was incredible.

My daughter was on tv production team and was alone with Morgan and celebrity during filmed interview. After conclusion of filming my daughter asked celebrity how it went and was told that it was ok except for one thing. A message from Joe about keeping keyboard made no sense. My daughter realised immediately that the message was directed at her and not the celebrity. Joe was a grandparent and she still has the keyboard. Spooky!

The British monarchs do not abdicate willingly. Edward VIII only did so under much pressure. It’s more likely King Charles will delegate certain duties to Prince William if he finds himself unable to carry them out the way he took on many of Queen Elizabeth’s duties and engagements during her last years. Or he could formalize the arrangement by making William Prince Regent similar to when George IV stood as Regent for his father George III when he was Prince of Wales.
