FINALLY ! This is so meaningful to me ! Mark and Yebba depicted heartbreak and loneliness so beautifully lyrically and visually. So thankful to have this source of comfort. The simplicity of it, looking out across the city, in the dark, really highlights the deep intensity and reflection of it all. Honestly hard for me to take how beautiful this whole thing is. And as a Producer, I feel like this is one of the best records' I've ever heard Produced, from arrangement, to sound design, to topline, chord progression, to Artist. Everyone involved should be super proud.
One of the greatest songs from one of my favorite albums of the year, alongside LDR's NFR. Yebba is a amazing singer. I can feel each word, each emotion. The black dressed people to me is a reference to the angels from Win Wenders's ' Wings of Desire'. I like to think like that. No matter how lonely or abandoned you are, there is a choir of angels surrounding you that you can lean to.
When you realize that YEBBA is most likely singing this to her mother who passed away, it makes both the song, and the video, all the more emotional, and heartbreaking. Thank you Mark, and YEBBA for this profoundly affecting and soulful sad banger.

FINALLY ! This is so meaningful to me ! Mark and Yebba depicted heartbreak and loneliness so beautifully lyrically and visually. So thankful to have this source of comfort. The simplicity of it, looking out across the city, in the dark, really highlights the deep intensity and reflection of it all. Being surrounded by all of those people, feeling so vulnerable and yet still so alone. And the harmonies at the end and coming into the light, is such a beautiful touch to the melody and coming out of the lonely darkness that comes with heartbreak.
