      It's pretty aggressive. I thought they had met the bottom most that they could, but they did remove antennas in this one, whilst improving compatibility so it's not as hurtful considering how wide this can be supported on Android and iOS. A crazy new offering from BSP tbh!

    It's sad to say; but, I don't watch every video posted on this channel. Sometimes it's because the product being reviewed doesn't apply to me. Sometimes it's because I just straight-up missed it. The latter applies to this BSP N01 review.
    Okay, yeah, it's not made of the best feeling plastics. For $20, as long as the plastic doesn't crack or crack my skin then I'm good. I like that it spoofs the controllers that people actually use instead of being HID only. I also really like the look of those face buttons. Also, I know Hall Effect parts are a lot lower prices now than they were; but, it still impresses me when they're included on lower end tech. I guess this is how our parents felt when their new Dodge Caravan had such luxuries as airbags and ABS brakes, just like their boss's Mercedes.
    This looks like a great entry level controller. I'm not sure that I'd want to play in this tier unless it had a unique stick layout or something, but, for someone just getting into Emulation on Android or playing PUBG/CoD/R6 and they've heard that a controller will make them better at their games, I get it. It's cheap, yeah, but, it's not a penalty box. It's amazing how far we've come with this tier of controller in just the past three years.
    This is one of the things I love about Game Tech Talk. Klef is no snob. He covers expensive stuff and cheap stuff with the same attention to detail and dedication to give it a fair shake.

    As always bringing good reviews of interesting game controls. It really is an interesting proposal, but as you say the market evolves quickly in this sector .... let's hope to soon see a controller with a cooler and that adapts to all types of devices (phones, tablets with large camera modules, etc.), whether with USB type C or Bluetooth, that has good ergonomics and good construction .... let's wait for 2025 and see what comes out ... for now just by hand play xd .... although it would also be an interesting proposal to see a controller that does not have a cooler, but comes with the option to attach one .... taking into account how they come now ... who knows

    • @GameTechTalk
      @GameTechTalk  2 місяці тому +2

      Fingers crossed. I'm hoping the N02 will be the one because it seems to adopt the same "spring-loaded" mechanism as the D10, but it flips backwards like the ASUS Tessen. If they can skip the backward flipping and rather put a cooler there, that would be pretty awesome! The optional cooler solution seems to be locked to split controllers such as the Aileron X4 from GameSir but as you said, it would be interesting to see one that has it modular in its design. Let's see what they come up with next!

      @@GameTechTalk But from what I saw in the excel I mentioned, the bsp-d11s is bluetooth and has membrane buttons, while the bsp-n02 is usb-c and has mechanical buttons... and it seems that both have a ventilation system. Also, the bsp-d11s can be connected to a PC, while the bsp-n02, well, it can't. At least that's what it can in the comparison they make. If you want me to send you the link, tell me how I can contact you internally. They also mention that the bsp-n02 is swappable d-pad, foldable, 3.5 mm jack and pass-through charging

    Hi Klef! Amazing video as always! I meant to ask whether the right and left bumpers are clicky. I'm on the lookout for a silent type C controller which I can chuck in the nightstand and use when I can sneak in a couple of minutes of gaming before the whole family wakes up. I have the Gamesir X2s, and it's so darn noisy. Was hoping the BSP N01 would be silent but for some reason all recent controllers are as clicky as it gets. I know there's the G8 Galileo but that's above budget for something I'll use rarely. I was considering the Leadjoy M1C+, or the Gamesir Nova Lite with a phone holder attachment but are there any suggestions which come to mind?
    Thanks mate! And looking forward to more of your content!

    I’ve had this for about 2 weeks. The abxysulute s9 is taking forever to deliver so I got this to hold me off. Honestly it’s great I use it for GeForce now and it does what I need. It doesn’t work with my iPhone 16 case but when I use it with my android phone at home it’s no issue. Now it’s not big enough for my iPad mini it that’s what the s9 is for. It cannot. For example, the iPad Mini that you can catch small glimpses of in the video does not fit. And due to format ratio, it's a smaller fit than most 8" Android tablets. It also uses ribbon cables so modding it, while not impossible, will probably be quite the undertaking.

      Two great options you mentioned, if you are new to the space, I think the M15 if you can find at great price (£30-35) I think you'd have a pretty solid solution to get to experience nearly all of it and have something to coast on for a year or so until you decide to upgrade to a bigger model. • @GameTechTalk
      @GameTechTalk  2 місяці тому +2

      Pretty much going to be GameSir Galileo G8 Plus or BSP D8 Pro. The G8 Plus is your best bet if money is of no object, the D8 Pro is going to be your "best bang for your buck" option. Both of them work both on iOS, Android and Switch. The G8 Plus requires a "modding" to fit the tablet but it's really no mod at all as there is literally zero alteration to the product. The BSP D8 Pro will stretch wide enough. Check out my tierlist video with 20+ controllers, it'll give you the breakdown on both controllers.

    Hello, I have a question for you.
    What if you can get EasySMX M05 and M10 for around $23, what would you choose? I prefer the shape of M10 and hall effect joystick but you said M05 is better. What if these two are the same price, what would you choose?

      Between M05 and M10, there is never a world in which I would pick the M10 over the M05. Sorry to say so bluntly, the M05 just is the better device from where I stand.
      That's not to say the M10 is not good but to me, the sacrifices over the M05 are not worth. I think the M10 would need to be 50% less for me to pick it up over the M05. At least off of their regular price that is.

    Would you recommend this over EasySMX M05? Both are about the same price for me. I have iPhone 15 Pro Max

    • @GameTechTalk

      That's a tough call and it's impressive that BSP can create that conflict for less than 20USD... I think going forward, my "small form factor" telescopic gaming will primarily be on the N01 over the M05. The M05 remains a fantastic option but I am a HUGE rumble guy, I love rumble. That's the one thing that's pushing me over the edge for N01 if being perfectly honest. I was really taken aback by that unexpected improvement.

      @@GameTechTalk Does it have data pass through? If it does, it might be able to accept a type-c to 3.5mm adapter.

    Hello good sir.
    Are you able to do a review on the Gulikit KK3 standard? It has TMR sticks and is currently selling on Amazon for $40. I have only been able to find one review on YT and it wasn't in English.
    I'm interested to know how the sticks compare to the Tarantula you reviewed.

      i would say that BSP-D8 pro or D9 is a much better controller for that price, BSP really just pumping out new controllers just to be afloaut and be on youtube page

      Thanks algo and thank you for clicking on it! Honestly, considering everything it brings to the table, I willing to overlook a couple of things, I don't think it's terrible, it's not "Xbox controller" comfortable, but it still is better than most "small form factor" controllers so I give them the point for effort!
      As for D8 Pro and D9, I agree. Still, I like where this is going with the new "N" line, it's promising!

    Damnit, what to do. S9 or 8+ or this cheapy. Dang it. There are too many options.

      I think the order for which you should determine your pick is, wired or bluetooth? That's the first thing.
      Wired = S9 or N01
      Bluetooth = 8+
      Want both = S9
      Once you know that, if you go wired, the rest is: "Do you feel comfortable paying more, having an option that will remain "peak" option for longer, or you go the cheaper route and potentially upgrade sooner but to a market that might include more options then.
      My last advice, if you are ready, don't sit on it too long. Make the move, enjoy some delicious telescopic gaming and with the FOMO reduced, you'll have a clearer head for the next time you're ready to show again. Hopefully that helps, cheers!
