Most mics of this caliber could pick up even the softest of sounds. They have noise gates and things like that to pick up what you want them to. He definitely has a unique range and a powerful voice. Just you can hear that the mic's quality in the fact he doesn't move back or move forward to increase and decrease the pick up of the mic. He can just belt it and the mic will do the rest from the range he's at.
And the synchronization was unbelievable

I know what you mean. The search for real talent is hard these days cause some douche had to create autotune. Not that's bad but a lot of people who have no reason to be involved in music have cause an issue. But this has especially effect concert performances. So this is a breath of fresh air.

You can do the same in acoustic, just because video says acoustic does not mean it is not touched or edited. Not saying this one is the case im just saying you cant really know for sure, find concert versions or any live preformances if you want to be 100% sure, and even then if they are skillful they can lipsync it

This song was played on the radio constantly around the time my youngest was born (April 2012); it was always stuck in my head, so I hummed it to her all the time, especially at night during feedings/diaper changes, though usually at a much slower tempo. Even now she still loves it ♥

As a relative newcomer to this song (I heard it in a Belgian horror movie) and found it. I am in awe of this performance, not many modern artists can sound so identical to the studio recording track. This guy has an amazing voice and what a song.
