This song was played at my high school graduation in 2012! It was a time! I’m 30 now and fun. is still one of my favorite bands. This song will always have a special place in my heart. 🥹
I remember it playing at a bar and I instantly fell in love with it. At first I thought it was an older song. Later that year my mom got diagnosed with late stage cancer and got put in the ICU. The cancer put her in a ton of pain. While there one day she started humming it and would try to sing it. I would roll my eyes but it made me so happy. She also loved the song. She said as soon as she got out that we should go see them live. She passed away a month later. My mom was the most amazing, nicest, sweetest lady on the planet. Now this song means so much to me. 12 years later and I still cry whenever it plays. But I will always remember how much happiness it gave my mom in her last moments. 🥺
I can't believe that this song will be 10 years old the following year, this remember me angry birds, Doodle jump, yolo and swag, the good UA-cam, etc Pd: This song and Pumped up kicks are the definition of 2012
the fact that this song is still getting thousands of views a day is amazing. And the main reason we are all here is because of the nostalgia and memories...
Saw these guys in NY while they were shooting a music video. They were asked to play for some patients at columbia university hospital. They played like 3 songs in front of maybe 30-50 people. We all had our iv bags just jamming out to them. Nice little thing. Being a child in the hospital was not an easy life to live. I was 14 and just had my 6th heart surgery then had my 7th surgery a week after they came.

That is the best possible way to describe this song.
This song was played at my high school graduation in 2012! It was a time! I’m 30 now and fun. is still one of my favorite bands. This song will always have a special place in my heart. 🥹
I love how this song is sad, happy and chillin' at once and has few rock-ish features
Isn’t it crazy how we all remember this song and just feel the need to listen to it once again?
Haha you're right

That be nostalgia me boy
@@swordfish1819 ong it happened again😭😭💯
The nostalgia literally made me cry. This song defines my childhood.
I wish I would have taken advantage of life when I was younger. I didn't make the most out of my childhood, and this song makes me realize it.
@@IsaiahMoore04 me too....when I look back now I feel like I had an empty childhood.

Nostalgia is a strange feeling but it is my favorite one
For me it’s a mostly sad feeling, because Im wishing for the times I had to be back
I get happy at first then I get more sad the more I think about it.
A truly bittersweet feeling...💔❤️

I agree. I remember singing this with my cousin and friend when I was in my early years of uni. I was 21, my friend 22 and cousin 19. They’re both gone now, my cousin three years and my friend one-and-a-half years ago. Both to suicide
