I'm Chinese Malaysian.. my mother used to work as house helper for Japanese for as long as I can remember until she retires. I can concur that all my mom's Japanese employers loves Malaysia for the food, weather and cost of living.
We as Malaysians really really respect Japanese too and number 1 country for most of us to visit.Japan got a super discipline, hardwork and cleanest thing and places. In Malaysia, all Japanese stuff are very very good quality and we love it.Malaysians love Japanese food and entertainment too like Sushi,Anime and Manga.Thats the most popular we ever seen about Japan in here.Respect you because your english is good!Love Japan from Malaysia🇲🇾❤️🇯🇵

Japan really holds a special place in my heart. Still remember going there during Sakura season few years back. It truly is a very special country, both its landscape as well as its people.
Malaysia has tons of goodies to offer beside the stable climate, good choices of foods, colourful multi culture, driving reachable tourist destinations, no natural calamity, rich beautiful natural resources, friendly hospitality, no language barrier, low cost of livings etc.
I agree with that alot and also the politics.....

This is probably the first time I've seen reasons for living in Malaysia not associated with the weather, food and people hahaha

Your English is getting better Saki chan. Keep up the good work.
Thank you 😊😊
I love JAPAN just because of "SELIPAR JEPUN"..I still wearing that sandals since my childhood till today.Arigato Japanese for the great sandal😆

We're happy to have more foreigners especially Japanese living in Malaysia because 1) We get to improve our society and learn to adapt to other cultures 2) We get reminded of how lucky we are and should not take what we have for granted... so domo arigato

Yep, low cost of living was a big one for me, great value for our salaries, and there are so many great travel destinations all around us, very true
Great analysis 👍🏻 Malaysia is underrated great country
Your "Japanese are so rich laa.." is so kawaii 😝..I think you're naturally and seamlessly Malaysianizing yourself. I hope these reasons will stay true while you're still living here. Thank you for sharing your insight about Malaysia. 😍
Never know that my country was been know by japanese people so proud being Malaysian thank you for sharing anyway❤️❤️❤️
Currently studying in Ireland idk for how many years I’ll be here. I’m not criticizing Malaysians who want to migrate and settle down in another country but for instance, here in Ireland, other than good job opportunities and high salaries, what else could be the factors to drive someone to settle down here? I could not see my self settling down here forever probably because the environment here is totally different. And ofc not to mention the foods here are not as good as Malaysia. Malaysia is the best!
It the house rent system same as Malaysia? Maybe one day I gonna goes there
Salary high but food is plain😓
As a malaysian. I can feel your pain mate.
@@hirohunter2314 The rent here is expensive. A large portion of your monthly expenses would go to your rent. If you’re lucky enough you could get 400-500 rent per month if you live with 4 person. But if you want to live in a single room it’d cost 700-800 monthly depending where you live. The closer it is to the city the expensive it is. Which is why most people prefer to live outside the city and commute by bus.
@@g33k_Tech Totally true! I could not get a pisang goreng at a stall beside the road here where as in malaysia there would be pasar petang selling all kinds of food! Oh and bazar ramadhan also!
Hi Sakichan, do not reply if there are toxic comments. The toxic person is 100% not from Malaysia
mashowa is toxic person
I have sit in malaysia for 17 year and i stay in "Kelantan"
Malaysia do have disasters such as :
1. Flood(Mostly in kelantan/Terrenganu)
2 . landslide
3 . Mudslide
All due to heavy rain
Sorry if i misspell or wrong!
U had stay at the poorest state in Malaysia that ruling by PAS govt since 1957..300 years behind Singapore...hahaha.....
Thank you so much saki Chan for your straight to the point facts.
I'm a malaysian student currently studying in the middle east and honestly, now I understand the rich "value " that my hometown has.
So many Malaysians oversee the advantages that we as Malaysians have because there were in the same situation for a very long time so they've took it foe granted.
Yes our country its ups and downs like all other countries and we really should be thankful for all of our opportunities that we have. I hope Many more Malaysians start to realize this and don't let their minds got spoiled by some state medias which they are trying to spread negativity among society for their own good.
I'm really thankful that I'm a malaysian 🇲🇾❤✌😎
I'm from the Philippines, but i want to live to Japan too. There so many features that Japan have than in my own country but still i liked Philippines. The Japanese culture, their mindset as a person and their sceneries too, i wanted to experience that in the future.
Thank you ☺️ I like the Philippines 💕
Recently just watch a video of Japanese man speak Malay and he seems want to live in Malaysia. He also do a interview with some Japanese students that take learn bahasa Malaysia
very solid reasons, saki !!!!! Good job....
Your japanese accent when speak english so kawaiiii!!!
It's basically due to the currency exchange between the whole world & Malaysia that's why it seems low cost for them, but of course if we were to compare their groceries & other needs here's cheaper than other countries. Anyway, I do understand why people love Malaysia even for me. As stated by Saki our country is really the best when comes to food, lesser to none natural disasters, language wise we can almost speak at least 3 languages & most importantly working life isn't as stress as Japan whr u literally work ur life off with superiors that might not treat u right (I know not all of them r like that).
Sad for us happy for them
It's great to know the reasons why most Japanese prefers to come to Malaysia. Good for me to practice talking to and perhaps one day get to Collab on UA-cam too.
I haven't seen you for so long. I'm glad you're back again.
Tq 😉
I'm very proud being a Malaysian... finally...the country that have been occupied Us and our country for 4 years... finally they realize our country are the best country in southeast Asia...love from 🇲🇾 to 🇯🇵, TENNO HEIKA BANZAI...
Ya..the history never be forget.. Ours relative be sacrifice for what we have now..
Very good sharing and what a nice and fluent English, Saki Chan.
I am aware that most Japanese are moving to Malaysia are middle aged, but not sure if plenty are younger age like 20s to 30s. Living in Japan is more tedious than in HK as a foreigner, but I believe it's so easy for Japanese to slot in their retirement in Malaysia especially the cost of living and weather.
Hope the Japanese enjoy living in Malaysia.
Oh thank you for sharing. This has broaden my knowledge 😊 Welcome to Malaysia hihi.
Not only Japanese but a lot of Koreans have moved to Malaysia. The reason given is so many Korean shops, restaurant, schools and clinics for Koreans speakers.
Thanks for the info Sakisan. Unfortunately now MM2H is getting way stricter. Btw you speak like Kaz in KL hehhe. Your collab with Kaz was great. Pretty cute 😄
If you want to know, in Malaysia there is a lot of Japanese food. For example takoyaki, shushi, ramen, oden and many more
Nice to hear u again. Lama tak upload 😅 rindu.
Glad u r back!!!
We do have flooding though, and flash flood.
And nice maid cosplay, it's cute.
Do you know that the famous Japanese rockstar GACKT , owns a home in Malaysia? It was featured in one of the Japanese TV show.

Love your maid cosplay 😳❤️

I have a lot of respect for Japanese people because they are very polite and moral
interesting video saki proud to be malaysian
great video..arigato Saki Chan..
and we have alot Japanese food at m'sia too. sushi, ramen, oden, omakase, isetan bento etc
so saki chan if u free just answer "what is your favourite m'sia food ?" xD "lets see"
And we have Aeon here
Saki-chan 😍😍😍
Well, the country where I was born and raised, (and currently living in) is... let's say something sort of interesting happens. It's a 3rd world country where most people in here want to live elsewhere, and many people from 1st world countries like it here and wanna live here. And we ask "you live in a rich country, why would you wanna move here?"... it's funny how people outside wanna live here and people from here wanna live outside...
You know what people always say "the grass is always greener on the other side"
Welcome back.. saki-chan
Being quite a long time since your last video...😁
omg, thank you so muchh😍
The irony of how reason number 1 resonates among so many Malaysian young adults… Literally working to live, living from paycheck to paycheck. Buying a home is a luxury. Heck, even renting a (whole unit) home is a luxury. 😔
I'm brunei mixed malaysian, i'm totally agree with this tbh, try visiting brunei as well, make a review about it and i'm looking forward to it. peace✌️
Getting to know your channel from kaz kun. Glad to heae youre happy at malaysia saki chan :)

my real dream, as soon as i finish high school, then i want to continue studying in japan and find a job there. i am actually a fan of japanese people especially again with a very kawaii anime series🤩 Greetings from sabah malaysia. がんばり続ける💪💪

I'm new to your channel and my first impression was: Wow your English is very good!
Thank you so much 🥰 I'm still learning ya
As a Malaysians, I’m very proud to see that other people (especially from a developed country) love living in Malaysia even though Malaysia is yet to be a developed country like USA, Canada, Japan and more.. by the way, Malaysia does have a natural disaster.. on 5 June 2015, there has been an earthquake with a magnitude of 6.0 & its the strongest earthquake to happen in Malaysia since 1976.. and, other natural disaster has also occurred in Malaysia like flooding & landslides which is pretty often (actually it depends on the weather, heavy storms is one of the main reason of how these natural disaster can occurred)
Kita mana ada gempa bumi....yang paling dekat pon masa tahun 2004.🗿
(We (Malaysian) dont have any earthquake.....the only close call to earthquake are in 2004.🗿)
like now
@Kraze itu bukan earthquake, itu gegaran dr gempa negara jiran.
I think that you did not study geography in school. Read geography if you want to know that Malaysia is outside of the volcanic/tectonic line/plate to not get affected by a direct earthquake/volcanic disaster. Floods and landslides mostly are due to bad infrastructures development, design and management.
still lot lesser than Japan... Japan at some point has earthquake daily...
I hope all of you guys always remember that we, human are different from one another. All of humans comes from different countries with different languages, norms and etc.
And that is actually what makes it beautiful if people from other countries can all live together. I cant say that we will not have issues or whatsoever but the moment when we all truly understand that the differences are actually the thing that hold humanity together, and in that moment we can believe that living in peace is just possible
Maybe im just talking nonsense, but its the only point that i can explain to my kid why war is inevitable, childrens are murdered, homes are burn and etc.
Btw i really really really wanna go to Japan.
chill why so serious?
I from US. I love to live in Malaysia and most of your point are logic and i agree a lot
Saki chan, your maid cafe outfit is so cute 😍🥰, stay safe and take care of yourself 🙏
i think you missed another reason to move to Malaysia is Malaysian food, as Malaysian I'm proud of it and this is the only thing we can beat SIngapore. if you are Malaysian and you agree with me kindly drop a LIKE lol
Not the only we can beat...they win only on economy ,government and maybe education
"the only" are you kidding me...

Malaysia speak 4 language i think.
Malay, Mandarin, Tamil, and English
Oh ya, Malaysia also got many more language, for those at Borneo they also got extra language. If you got a chance you could go Sabah or Sarawak, they have beautiful scenery. i personally like Sandakan, Sabah and Miri, Sarawak. Not sure what language they talk if not mistaken Bahasa Iban. But they have a lot more I think. I am not Sabahan people but I love Sabah.
To be exact those chinese Malaysian who could speak Mandarin would also speak some dialect including Cantonese, Hokkien, Hakka and etc.
While indian Malaysian who speak Tamil also has their branches of dialect as well.
But still Malay still speak Malay and may be some might speak some English as well.
And also those Orang Asli and tribes from Sabah and Sarawak also has their own dialect as well.
So actually it is pretty complicated than that 4 language only.
But there are some Malaysia stage that not talk likes the other state like Kelantan state/negeri

Most Malaysians don’t like to live in Malaysia because salary too low. Living cost is low only for foods and transportation but it you want to buy other things such as mobile phone and computer, the items are still follow the international price.
Only low salary earner like you think so.
@@wht8349 you must accept the truth that this is the dark side of Malaysia. Low income country, ringgit depreciations, inflations and etc. Makes this country hopeless for Malaysian citizens. I have low income too but fortunately my dad has money. He put a lot of money into my unit trust and mutual fund accounts. However, not all people outside there are as lucky as me. As you can see a lot of pity Malaysian keep withdrawing their pension funds from EPF. So sad to see that. I have no problem for that because my dad was helped to create an EPF account since I was 18. That time I’m still studying in Form 6 until university I still not working. My EPF still keep running and my dad keep help me to contribute EPF. For me is fine, but for other people not even have RM1,000 in their EPF account, so sad. However, I guess probably they loan RM200k from bank to invest ASB and ASB2.

In Malaysia, if you speak with a little slang of your own place, people will try to imitate the slang. If you speak english with japanese slang, they will speak in that slang too. Not just other country, but if you from different states, like you speaks in Northern Malaysia slang like Kedah, or East Malaysia like Kelantan, they will also speak in that slang of yours. It is not an insult, but its a norm to make sure that you dont feel shy to communicate with us.
Luv u always 😆
