Does it link the Kit to the Pattern when you save the pattern only ? In other terms, if I load a pattern, then change the kit, and then reload the pattern, will it recall the original kit ?
How do we ESCAPE SHIFT MOD BUTTON (to set the clock source ) THAT IMMEDIATELY ILLUMINATES THE RESET BUTTONS THAT immediately ERASES THE EXTERNAL CLOCK SOURCE SETTINGS and sets it back to internal clock ! It’s making me insane 😖😖
That did not work but the last button did and you make two people that reached out too help . Thank you kind stranger for your help I wrote it down just in case . 👽✌️
Hi! Does the Perkons send automation data to the DAW? and by doing so can you later automate from DAW to the Perkons? Thanks in advance! Great video!!!!
This has been so unbelievably helpful! Thank you! I have a question! How is the hard reset (shift+reset+first trigger) different than pressing the reset button alone?
Hi, thanks! Reset stays locked to the clock. Hard Reset resets the clock as well, so you can manually sync to something else that may not be directly synced via cable. Also for cool hip hop style fills like playing a sampler pad ;)
Thanks for this! Just a note to folks that are watching this and thinking that it's only a zappy techno machine. It's SO much more! It does thick and beefy kicks and snares. It's a bit difficult to find demos online that showcase this but it's a huge part of what this machine offers.
Doesn't this mean you actually can record the triggers into th sequencer? Also, can you tell me if you can live record midi data from an external sequencer into the Perkons? A B C RND FWD BWD PP RND LIVE DRUM RECORDING You can use the PĒRKONS HD-01 as a drum synthesizer module with a electronic drum pads (not included with PĒRKONS HD-01) - connect the drum pads to the trigger inputs and adjust trigger sensitivity (please, refer to Configuration Settings on page xx of this manual). Please note the trigger inputs are not velocity sensitive. Rhythm can be recorded via the TRIGGER IN for each voice. The steps will also be quantized, but they will also record the velocity amount if entered via external devices such as velocity-sensitive drum pads. Please note that everything is quantized to a 16-step grid at the set tempo, meaning that finer nuances (such as drum rolls/fills) will not record organically. @@QuincasMoreira
I don’t think the measure of value for this is really number of voices. But I hope you’re happy with the rhythm! Completely different sound, experience, workflow etc, but a very good machine as well 😉
@@QuincasMoreira Yes, that what i thought but there is dedicated sync button. Cant not find anything about it in a manual or online. Weird. Thx for reply. All best.
@@QuincasMoreira Here is some reply from other channel ...."Afaik that is a printing error that somehow is still getting printed :). In one of the earlier prototypes of perkons there was a switch there that changed the mod source of the bbd modulation. Not entirely sure how it worked but the mid position was "S1". It seems like they missed the S when removing the print for that switch."
Really appreciated this video manual, thanks
New firmware just came out and took the PĖRKONS to new level...
BTW - When step-locking parameters, you can lock a parameter without a trigger too.

You need to save both kit and pattern and switch on pattern link in the settings, then yes!
that’s one of the best snares i have ever heard on a drum machine

@@QuincasMoreira thanks bro!
I love it how Erica Synths reminds you to pick the kids from school right after rnd and odds. Great manual!
❤ great! Please make video about perkons new update!
will do!
This video was a great find, thank you :) I've just purchased the Perkons today and cant wait to get my rhythm fingers on it lol
Thank you for sharing this with us..Happy Tuesday ❤❤❤❤
Thanks for the video. Considering getting one of these to add to my set up. Really appreciate how thorough this is.
Hi, I really love your song I found in UA-cam audio library. It’s to use it ? 😅❤
yes!
@@QuincasMoreira thank you. Your song is very relaxing 😎. I give you credit 🥰
Thank You!
Great video! Never thought of getting drum pads for mine but you've totally sold me.

Hi! No there’s no DAW integration currently. Thanks for watching!

I've learned more watching this video for 15 minutes that I've learned trying to teach myself how to use this the last 6 months. Kuddos!

Not currently! Hopefully in a future update

What a treat 👌🤗🔥🔥🔥Fantastic tutorial 👏👏👏💯Cheers 🫵🤘
It needs more voices for the high price of the machine. I went Rytm for less money and better interface and more voices.
