  • In this video I will explain how you can restore for FREE a garden or patio plastic chair that has been damage by the sun light and because it has been in the outdoors.
    Very easy DIY that you can do but take seriously the safety recommendations and always wear mask.
    You can apply this technique to any garden furniture of this kind.

    The reason it came out looking less than ideal is that you moved WAY too slowly with the torch. You can clearly see the plastic melting. It’s even drippy on the front. When you do this, you’re supposed to QUICKLY wave the torch back and forth so that the surface doesn’t even get close to actually melting.

    Thanks for the video. You could apply painting now, it would have a good quality of ink adhesion becouse the oxidation of surface.

    I wonder if you could apply a good quality light color truck bed liner to make the chair even stronger?

      Less than 1 euro of gas 6 chairs restore. This chairs cost 35 € each. Plus think in the enviroment, if you extend the live of the chairs by 2 or 3 times you avoid putting extra 12 chairs of plastic in the planet

    What is cost of chair and that you used gas ?

    • @GuyInAMountain
      @GuyInAMountain  3 роки тому +5

      Those are quality chairs, 25 €. Full gas bottle 2€, I did 6 chairs with this gas bottle and still a lot of gas left but the important here: The live of the chair is expanded and reused; less plastic in the enviroment.

    • @GuyInAMountain
      @GuyInAMountain  2 роки тому

      Why buying new chairs? To create more waste and polute the world?
      Those chairs are high quality each cost 25 to 35 euros. Total gas spent, less than a bottle for all. Bottle price: 2€. It is much more cheaper to renew the chairs
